I have to tell you what disappointed me more than losing was the lack of energy and enthusiasm out there. I don't know if it was the fact that I was physically there and not watching the game on TV or what but boy there was just no juice flowing.

It appeared to me that the Packers settled for playing down on a level with Jacksonville who lulled them to sleep until the last half of th last quarter and the Pack couldn't pick it back up.

I have always been a McCarthy fan and believe that he PREPARES extremely hard with a goal of putting the players in a position where they can have success. Maybe there is so much emphasis on the technical stuff and the strategy that they are forgetting you still have to WANT to win more than the other guy.

I will tell you this there were a BUNCH of Packer fans at this game. It's a shame to see people travel that far to watch a team with as little fight in it as the one I watched on Sunday. I don't mind losing when you go down scrappin' but that was down right whimpy and was one day of only a handfull in fifty years I can say I was not very proud of being a Packer fan.

And had we somehow pulled the game out the score wouldn't change that either. I have never been a big Ray Lewis fan but does this team ever need a guy like him out there.

This is exactly what I have been trying to say for months.. this team has been lacking fire, and when I was lighting up MM on his pressers and his mello passing of mental mistakes and lack of focus off as hogwash.

This team lacks fire.. period. And up til maybe the last week or two.. MM has lacked that fire as well.

Confidence is contagious. So is lack of confidence.

This is closer to what I think really happened this year than most other theories I've heard passed around. It seems like our really young team just wasn't able to overcome the adversity and disappointment of some tough, HARD fought games lost early on, like Tennessee. I've seen them show less and less fire as these weeks go by, except for a few players... but we need it as a TEAM.

And yes, I think the technical aspect of the game has been pushed on players so much it has stifled their instincts as football players, especially the linebackers.

I also believe a lot of our young players...pretty much the entire team.....spent the offseason reading the glowing articles and predictions for the 2008 team. Kinda thought they could just show up and take victory any given Sunday.

I drove six hours and can tell you I would have rather listened to this on the radio than witnessed it in person because I would not have been able to see a team just go out and go thru the motions.

Like I say I've been to games where they fought hard and lost and that was O.K. with me. This was not O.k. by me and I can honestly say they didn't deserve this game had they pulled it out.

I will say that I saw more effort in the previous games and the losses stacking up have obviously disheartened this group as MPF stated. I think this does show that we lack that warrior leadership mentality and need a player that won't tolerate what I saw Sunday and will stay right in everybody's face.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I believe in a daggum HUDDLE because everybody comes together before every play and all the players are right there seeing the effort and sweat and the pain and it MOTIVATES you on the next play.

I know it did when I played. Get in that huddle and one of your big lineman is holding his side in pain with blood running down between his eyes. Man, I wanted to go knock someone's head off!

Our guys stand around between plays looking at the big screen or over to the sidelines and rarely get TOGETHER and then get AFTER IT for crying out loud.

I've noticed this oddity too. Rodgers has to motion his men into the huddle, and sometimes he has to get downright demanding and insistent with his hand gestures before they'll gather around. It looks like they're expecting him to just shout out the play call, but with all the crowd noise, how can they reasonably believe they'll be able to hear it?

Jermichael Finley basically blamed his shitty performance on not being able to hear Rodgers.

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
