One of the problems with picking up a TE mid season is AR. How long will it take for the new player to learn the system? How long will it take for AR to trust him enough to even throw the ball his way? It may be a wasted pick up.

It doesn't matter who we are looking at, the Rams are not going to trade with GB. Why would they want to make GB stronger? Their goal is to get to the Super Bowl not acquire draft picks.

Rumors only that he's available. Some Cardinals guy named Isabella? He also might be. DeSean Jackson received permission for trade. Yes these two aren't TE but if you can add a weapon, add a weapon.

You know who would have made a nice TE to pick up in a trade if he were available? Zach Ertz! Pity the Cardinals scooped him up from the Eagles.

Remember we got Daphney coming off one of those lists.

If DeGuara can learn the playbook he could be an uograde from Tonyan. Long as he knows where to stand when the ball is snapped.

This really sucks for Tonyan. Contract coming up right?

Who needs Engram when we have big dog!

I know it is last dance season but this time I think I would roll with Dafney. I like what I have seen out of him.

Considering this is a buyers market because there isn't a lot of cap space to go around... I don't think he's going anywhere... unless maybe just maybe the GM is feeling the hot seat and thinks this will help him, but I think he's fired either way, so this doesn't help him.

As we gave Devin Funchess an injury settlement, can we pick him up to play TE? He would know the playbook and system we run and have a bit of practice time with Aaron.

My understanding is that after the injury settlement is up, any of the other 31 teams can sign him.

Then I believe the team that reached in the injury settlement, has to wait 6 additional weeks (which is a rule that set to stop teams from getting around the 53 man roster rules and the IR rules (back when players weren't allowed to return from IR)...

So depends on how long the injury settlement was for...
