The Packers are re-signing cornerback Rasul Douglas to a three-year, $21 million deal worth up to $25.5 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

His stat line is considered an outlier, unlikely to repeat, because he doesn't have elite measurables. But this dude studies tape, prepares himself, sees it develop in front of him. Now also combine that with whatever Barry is doing with his defensive squad.

It's been successful.

The team’s only notable departures are pass-rusher Za’Darius Smith, who played just two games (including postseason) last year, reserve safety/dime defensive back Henry Black, who was not tendered as an exclusive-rights free agent, and defensive lineman Kingsley Keke, who was released prior to the Packers’ playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Additionally, fellow cornerbacks Kevin King and Chandon Sullivan remain free agents as of this moment."

Please don’t say that. I still haven’t forgiven Al Harris for losing his head in the playoffs against the Giants. He was one of the major reasons we lost that game.
