Aaron Rodgers confirmed on Wednesday that his right thumb is broken, but added that 'it doesn't make a difference.'

He does this every time he's injured. Blows it off as nothing during season. Then casually during the off-season will say how no one knew how bad it was.

The kicker maybe but the QB kind of needs a functioning hand and collar bone to be effective. Maybe this is a consequence of dealing with the shadow of Favre who also played a season with a messed up thumb.

It's all about the optics and no he hasn't made it an excuse and actually was saying nothing was wrong with it.
