Every red-blooded competitor in the sport has a breaking point. One humbly accepts their plight for only so long.

Talent cannot be confined to a practice field forever. Frustration boils over. And the night of Nov. 27, 2022, Jordan Love proved he deserves to start in the NFL.

Against the NFC’s best team, he was nearly perfect. Afterward, however, he was in no cheery mood. When longtime mentor and personal quarterbacks coach Steve Calhoun texted him — “unbelievable game” — Love was… glum. “But Steve,” he responded. “We lost.” Love made it clear how badly he wanted to win this game. Deep down, both knew a comeback win smashes perception for good.

“It would've put the rest of the NFL on notice,” says Calhoun. “Like, ‘OK, you got somebody to deal with here over the next 10 years.’”

Love received all of seven snaps the final five games.

Of course, he wanted to remain the Packers’ starting quarterback after that game. Of course, he’s growing irritated by this whole charade.

“We’re all human,” Calhoun says. “There’s definitely frustration but you understand the dynamic and you’ve got a future Hall of Famer in front of you that you can’t be upset about. You can be frustrated but you just control what you can control. He is working. He’s trying to learn the offense as well as Coach LaFleur knows it. That's his whole deal: ‘I want to know the offense as well as Coach LaFleur.’ Almost be that second coach on the field. If Coach starts to talk about a play or how they can scheme up, Jordan wants to finish the sentence. That’s what he's working toward every day.”

Good news, Jordan.

Tyler has had it in for Aaron Rodgers for long time. So, he's been propping up Jordan Love hardcore last two seasons.  That said, kind of neat Jordan is finishing LaFleur's sentences in the way that it shows they're on the same page.

Hope Number 1A :
  • Rodgers restructures to give some more cap room.
  • Comes back, healthy
  • We go all in and win the Super Bowl
  • He retires
  • Nerdmann's and other naysayers' heads explode
  • Subsequently, we suck for a couple of years, but Love gets great in game experience
  • We wiin a Super Bowl 5 years later as Rodgers in inducted into the HOF

Hope Number 1B -
  • Rodgers is traded to a team ready to win (because honestly, we are not) and he/they win the Super Bowl (unless by some miracle they play us)
  • We get some great young players/draft picks which result in kick-ass offensive an defensive lines
  • Love gets great experience as our receivers get better and Doubs learns not to drop the ball.
  • Jones learns not to fumble in big games.
  • We win the Super Bowl 2,3, 5, and 7 years out (let's not get greedy)

My biggest concern is that Aaron is purposely going to come back and be as big of a problem for the franchise as he can.

Gutey does have some leverage though. He could trade Aaron somewhere he doesn't want to go. If Aaron doesn't like it, he can retire. Which will put our team completely off the hook from his salary. We just won't get anything for him, because it will void the trade.

If Aaron does want to go to somewhere where he has a chance of winning, he's gonna have to help make that happen.

Martha Careful (21h) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

Zero2Cool (31-Jul) : It's probably gonna be slower.
Zero2Cool (31-Jul) : We're gonna just full go on to the new host.
Zero2Cool (31-Jul) : What crap. Site issues galore
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : @JacobMorley Shoutout to Quinn Ewers for allowing Matthew Golden to be available when Green Bay picked.
Zero2Cool (27-Jul) : The menu you expanded to log in, it's the first icon under "PackersHome" .. maybe i should add text to it
