Because Hurts is rusty after missing 3 weeks. But it was the first game where they didnt get embarassed by a NFC contending team like they did in week 1 and vs the lions and vikings twice.

Funny when The Packers D shuts down an offense, it's because the other team had been dealing with injuries and were Rusty.
Now when. The Packers get shut down, its all about how terrible they are, no excuses for who is injured or who had just returned. From injury.

I sometimes forget Packer players have to become all-pro and play mistake free free fromm day 1..

Could it be that The Packers are just a year or 2 away?

Nah....it's just me being that rah rah guy who really enjoys watching Packer football, and.can except the disapointment of not winning The SB , like the other 31 teams fan bases who don't win.

Also, clealry i stated they did good but i also followed it with how it may have been due to Hurts being rusty. Also, Saquon and the run game did whatever it felt like against this magical defense so there was no need to throw on them.

But nah, that makes too much sense.

Yes, Hurts was rusty and post-concussed, but the Packers mixed up defensive looks albeit ending up in alot of 2 high.

When a team has corner, not just the safeties. occasionally dropping into the two deep zone, the QB has to read If it is man or zone and if zone, which of the safties/corners are going to be deep, which takes time, especially when you are rusty/concussed.

Further, with Brown, when the defense plays a two high look, there could have been in man with a LB underneath, further adding variation to coverage schemes.

The use of motion helps a QB determine which coverage is likely.

It was a very good game plan....4 turnover, and forfeiture on downs, giving up 22 points, is exceptional. The Jets apparently were impressed as well.
Go Packers!!!!

I don't agree with the Jalen Hurts rusty talk. He did what was asked of him. He wasn't off target. He wasn't underthrowing passes. He wasn't overthrowing passes. He looked pretty sharp. And to be honest, that annoyed me. I figured three weeks off the guy wouldn't be more accurate than our QB who has played game after game after game, etc.

My answer in shout to the question how were the Packers able to do so well against the Eagles passing attack was as follows:

Cover 2, keep a CB and Safety over top of both WRs... and Hurts (like Rodgers) is overly careful and doesn't like any risk in his throws.

So Hurts didn't take many, if any risks or tight windows and wasn't throwing into Cover 2, which I think helped the Packers. Where a more aggressive QB could of hit the WRs more often down the field, taking some risks, but also potential get an INT.

Hurts like playing low risk, especially when they're winning and have the lead. So not because he was rusty, or injured, but because he plays overly cautious and Packers were taking advantage of that.

Zero2Cool (7h) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (17h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (17h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
