Ok i lied lol, Why is Rodgers so hurt wouldn't call him back after all he was happy he was out of town. Now answer me this a question a little off topic but was in the interview WTF was Rodgers doing at the espy's when it was Brett getting the awards? I think there was alot of little dirty tricks played by both the Packers (rodgers included) and Favre. Maybe someday a book will be written so we can find out some of the good details. I had ex g/fs call my house and i never called them back does that make me a jerk or is it maybe because i have moved on.

I do not think a player can just walk up to the ESPY and say let me in..So if he was invited why is that his fault?

and your analogy of the ex g/f is perfect!!

I agree its stupid to be upset but I can not fault him for being upset..if that makes sense?

I think it's different. You're buddy Robert isn't Aaron Rodgers and your buddy Ryan isn't Brett Favre. If Aaron is calling Brett, not just texting him, I think it's gotta be important.

If Robert just texts Ryan and says "what are you doing this weekend", it's not too important to where he would have to reply to him. If they were talking about something like the Favre saga and they were actually Aaron and Brett, I'd say that Ryan SHOULD reply.

Maybe Aaron wanted to talk about what was going on during the Favre saga and everything, Brett was too stubborn because Aaron took "his" job...

This is just my insight on the situation...

Dude, c'mon. It's the offseason. This is a bit of "news," and we're discussing it. Forums are full of this kind of stuff. Every forum. That's kind of what they are for, to discuss things. This isn't a huge story by any means, but it is a story worth perhaps a bit of discussion during a slow part of the offseason.

Whether you like it or not, stuff like this is going to happen on internet forums. I get outside plenty. Been outside all day long. I enjoy relaxing in my home and reading up on some recent Green Bay Packer happenings.

Just the way it is.

Did he ever say he was "hurt?" No.......he just stated fact that Favre didn't call him back.
Did he say "I'm happy Favre's out of town?" Again, no. You just made that stuff up to try to make it look like you have a valid point.

Like was already said, Rodgers had to have been invited to the ESPY's, and he went. Why shouldn't he? Just because Brett Favre was gonna be there? Looks like Rodgers is the only one of the 2 not pissed off about what all went down.

Ok we need to be analyzing this more. What service and plans do your buddys have. Cell phone bills can get expensive and is all this occuring after 9 central and specific times?

What was Benard Berrian doing at the ESPY's?

The ESPY's are an award show. You don't need to be nominated to go. Aaron Rodgers attended because he's a professional athlete and was invited I assume.

As far as this entire topic.

Brett Favre not returning Rodgers' phone call is not surprising. I admire Brett Favre the player, but I think he's so competitive that his pride is hurting his judgment when it comes to the entire situation.

Hopefully in time both sides can get over everything.

"dhazer" wrote:

I don't know how much of that was planned or scripted, but Aaron Rodgers "performance" at the ESPY's made it fun to watch, ESPECIALLY with Brett and wife in attendance.

It's all about Brett's 16 year contribution to our team. If the roles were reversed, Rodgers would be getting murdered by the media. I grew up with Bart Starr as my "hero", and he could do no wrong in my book. (Still that way). I prefer to remember Brett Favre for the 16 years, not the last one. I maintain that his truth is Brett's truth, not necessarily the real truth. Aaron Rodgers seems to tell the real truth to me, and I do find it illuminating that Brett Favre doesn't deign to return a phone call from him. 15 years from now, I'll bet Brett will wish he had.

this is a portion of an interview that is a "non-story" & yet we can't just let it go...strange. i don't personally care what brett does or doesn't do - he's not a packer. let it go.

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
