Want to Shore up the secondary completely..

Much like Woodson, I think his market value will be limited.. but the guy can flat out play ball, is very familiar with the ZBlitz mentality and would completely shore up the secondary concerns on this club.

Very dependent upon his market value.. but good corners are hard to find.

On the same day that the Jaguars released a first-round pick from the 1998 draft, the Ravens have done the same thing, albeit with less fanfare, to a first-rounder from the following year.

Per a league source, the Ravens have parted ways with cornerback Chris McAlister.

The move comes as little surprise, given that McAlister was due to earn base salaries of $8 million in each of the next three seasons.

McAlister played in only six games last season before hearing to the injured reserve list. He was benched at one point by coach John Harbaugh after violating the teams dress code.

The ten-year veteran was the first draft choice of the Brian Billick era.

Going to be 32 years old, coming off IR for a knee injury that he has been fighting for 2 years? He better be cheap.

Had this been a year ago, coming off a 13-3 year, I would probably say, yeah go for it and add the depth. This year, I have a different through. We have 1 appears to be very good backup in Williams who will be a starter soon in the NFL, hopefully Packers. Also a young unknown in Lee.

Only benefit I really see is his age, helping so I can quit hearing the youngest team in the NFL junk.

The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
