Couple more thoughts.....

Front Seven was THE Biggest concern going into the draft by far.

Front Seven Going into the Draft

Jenkins/Pickett/Harrell or Jolly
Kampman/Hawk/Barnett/Poppinga or anyone else

Front Seven After the Draft

Jenkins/Picket or Raji/Raji or Pickett
Kampman/Hawk/Barnett/Matthews

Raji is a run stuffer and a pass rusher. He could add four to five sacks to this defense. That doesn't sound like a lot, but for a 3-4 defensive lineman, it is. For any DT, it is.

Matthews also could add a couple of sacks via the pass rush. Probably four or five again.

1. You upgraded your run game with Raji and now less pressure is on Justin Harrell and Johnny Jolly who become more rotational guys.

2. You add probably 8 sacks between the two players to this defense and that goes along with the 10 that Kampam is usually good for and Jenkins will get some too. It upgrades the pass rush.

You got to feel good about the Packers defensive front seven now. I feel great about it honestly and before the draft, I was really worried.

I'm with you on this - they really addressed that area, and it was good to see. Now anything we get from Harrell is almost a bonus - if he rebounds well from the injuries and inactivity, our rotation in front looks scary.

Come on Adrian, try to run over Big BJ.

I think our run defense will be much much better now.

I'm so glad that we got Raji, he upgrades our pass rush AND our run defense. Not often you get a dominating DT that can do both. If Raji stays clean, I think he will be one of my favorite people on this team.

truly, i think that we had a solid a- mostly because of b.j. raji, and clay Matthews. there was one sleeper that we got and i dont think many other know about:jamon meredith
mccarthy wont take sh** from him, he hasnt from anyone
solid blocking i think and one big guy

I'm incredibly happy with the draft, and doubly so after hearing that Pickett may kick outside on some downs in the 3-4. T.J. Lang was very underrated. I LOVE Raji. I had Meredith in all of my Packers mocks. The only thing I'm concerned about is Matthews because I really haven't watched him much, but I love his attitude in interviews/game clips.
I'm also happy as hell with how the UDFA signings have gone so far. Jamarko Simmons looks like a beast. Every one of those clips where he catches the ball in traffic he starts blowing by people.

2 questions - Where can I watch these interviews with Matthews and where can I watch these plays by jamarko Simmons ... and is he really 241 pounds for a WR? (NICE!)

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round

Martha Careful (2-Aug) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
