Steve Stricker has a two shot lead playing the 11th hole on Sunday.

I would love to see the Wisconsin Boy win his second tourney of the year at The John Deere Classic.

Some how John Deere and Wisconsin just seem to fit each other.

Funny post. Gave me a great idea....

I think I will watch the movie "Fargo" again. It is a great film, and I have not watched it in years.

" So, I'm tendin' bar dera at Ecklund and Swedlin's last Tuesday, and this little guy's drinkin' and... ur... he says, "So where can a guy find some action? I'm goin' crazy out dera at dah lake." And I says, "What kinda action?" and he says, "Woman action, what do I look like?" And I says, "Well, what do I look like, I don't arrange that kinda thing," and he says, "I'm goin' crazy out dera at the lake," and I says, "Well, this ain't that kinda place."

I love the movie "Fargo". It reminds me of Wisconsin, especially the sound of the snow. This is probably too much "interchangeability/generalization" for all my Wisconsin brothers and sisters, but hey der, I don't get der anymore, ya know.

To that end, anyone want to click this link, scroll down, and tell me how many of those words/phrases DO NOT apply to Wisconsin?

If you are a geezer AND from Wisconsin...

Ever make the run to South Beloit for Oleo?

Did you ever knead the orange/red dot?

DFOSTER!!!! I remember the "oleo runs" to "Ill-a-noise" we made when i was a kid! And i remember making it different colors! (It just didn't SEEM right to be eatting blue or red oleo!)
Now......on to "Fargo". I LOVE that movie!!! It's funny how when you live in a place you don't realize the "accent" we have. In 1986 i worked at gun shows all over the country. And it SHOCKED me when people would say "You have a funny accent!" But being away for 3 weeks at a time, then coming back and really paying attention, i realized they were right! One example is, most people from Milwaukee pronounce it "MA-waukee". Just pay attention and see how many people say it that way.
Or the shock i got once when i asked where the nearest "bubbler" was. The guy looked at me, and said "What the heck is a BUBBLER?" When i told him, he said "OH! You mean a drinking fountain!" The term "bubbler" came from back in the day, when they had them on most street corners in downtown MAwaukee. The water spout was in the middle of the bowl, and when you turned it on, the water "bubbled" straight up out of the spout. Thus, "bubbler".
It's really fun to listen to the accents of people all over the country. Once, i was in Mississippi, and taking a break at the snack bar at the gun show. The lady serving us was REALLY pretty. A guy at the table behind me said, clear as day, "Miss, can i have a piece a ass?" I turned around to see how she would react, and she shocked me when she said "Sure!"
It was only when she came back to his table that i understood what he was saying. She came back with a cup of ICE!
Another time i was down south, a guy was telling me how his son broke the stock on his rifle. I asked him how it happened, and he said "He failed."
I didn't want to say i didn't know what he was saying, so by talking to him i got the story that he had slipped and fell, thus breaking the stock.

hahahahaha Cheesey and the water bubbler. I was saying that at college and my computer teacher didn't believe there was such a thing so during class he actually did a web search to find one and of course Ace Hardware shows up with them lol.

It's funny the different ways people talk, out here they say yinz and yunz instead of you all, or it's katty corner instead of kitty corner. Or they eat Gobs instead of moon pies and my fav is they have to red up the house before company comes over but i clean my house lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

"Red up?"
How did they come up with that???

A friend of mine was from Indiana. He had an accent, and when i first met him, i asked him what town he was from. He said "Befurd". I was like "Befurd? I never heard of that place. He then laughed and pronounced
it clearly, and it was BEDFORD.
Of course i could NEVER let it go, and from then on i called it "Bedrock!"
ALWAYS made him laugh!

"Red Up." LOL

I learned something today Hazer...That is cool.

I never say it, but I like.... "Put Up." As in "I will put up some coffee."

Instead of "I will make some coffee."

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request
beast (1-Aug) : Packers should make some cheese forks
Mucky Tundra (31-Jul) : GRAB THE PITCHFORKS~

Mucky Tundra (31-Jul) : The West has fallen
Mucky Tundra (31-Jul) : After starting off camp with 25 straight made field goals, Brandon McManus has missed one
Zero2Cool (31-Jul) : But it should be stable
Zero2Cool (31-Jul) : It's probably gonna be slower.
Zero2Cool (31-Jul) : We're gonna just full go on to the new host.
Zero2Cool (31-Jul) : What crap. Site issues galore
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
