What do you think the Camp Battles will be? What positions and what players? Who wins?
Some of the battles IMO (and my guesses)
Flynn vs. Brohm for #2 QB (Flynn wins)
Moll vs. Meredith for #2 LT (Meredith wins... Moll gets cut)
Spitz vs. Wells for C (not really a battle other than on paper Spitz wins easily)
Barbre vs. Giacomini vs. Lang for RT (They battle and none of them look totally ready to take over but Barbre beats the other two out to get the start for game 1 at least)
Lee vs. Finley for TE (Finley looks much more talented and flash but Lee wins because Finley isn't mental ready to be a pro yet and do all the little things and the coaches want the starter to be willing to do a little bit of everything even the little things)
Hall vs. Kuhn vs. Johnson for (two positions) at FB. (I think it's very close and I think Johnson will become the starting for the long term but one of the vets will strt for the short term and I'm guessing Hall... Hall isn't nearly as flashy but he gets the job done just as well and is better catching and on ST)
Jones vs. Nelson for #3 WR ... (tied... the coaches use both as a #3 depending on the play and who they are going against...)
#5 WR... a whole lot of names and I don't know who will win.... Martin and Swain are said to be number 5 and number 6 going into camp.....
Thompson vs. Matthews at ROLB (Thompson wins.... Matthews has tons and tons of talent but he's still raw and need some working. I have no doubt Matthews will get time at LB but he may in the packages and not as a starter....)
Blackmon vs Lee for #4 CB (I think it goes to Blackmon for now but Lee has more talent and will be ahead of Blackmon later.....)
Any others? and who do you think will win?
