He also got DRILLED by a defender on a throw. Overall he didn't look good at all.

At first I was happy about it, then I got sad. He's embarrassing himself. I feel kinda bad.

Tarvaris is in now.

I just wanted to see the spectacle. Good or bad I didn't think his performance would mean anything after being with the team for three days.

The Viking's announcers were saying the bad throws were 'nothing to worry about'. Because they were 'veteran throws'. Whether the WR is supposed to wain over or not, it's the QB's job to make the ball catchable for the WR.

I think Favre was playing it safe with his arm too. The balls weren't coming out of the cannon at a high velocity at all.

Favre could have punched a kitty in the face and the announcers would have made excuses. That one announcer wanted to jump Brett's bones! lol!

I think Favre wanted to come back all along but held out signing for more money. Why? He needed the money to bribe the announcers to not talk shit about him.

On a happy note the viqueens in ability to deal with the 34 fronts is nice

Tavaris looked good and sustained a nice AP oriented drive capped off with a 13 yard strike for 7. The Vikings defense gave up an early score to Cassel but forced and recovered two fumbles.

What bugs me is the announcers and those fans who spent the last 15 years telling us how terrible/risky/thoughtless/inconsistent are now tripping over their boners gushing about how amazing Brett is.
