But honest to God, if you actually stand pat after Clifton's poor performance and re-injury, I will officially start to wonder what your agenda is.

And I'm not even talking trade, here, though I'd bet that some team has an OT or two on their depth chart who's better than anyone you've got. I'm talking about doing something. Anything. You've got cash to spend. Levi Jones. Runyan. Tell me these guys couldn't at least provide the depth you don't currently have at that position.

There are guys out there on the street that could help. There are several teams holding fire sales. There is NO draft between now and the end of a season in which your team is capable of being highly competitive in every area other than the offensive line. This should be a no-brainer.

Do your job, Ted. Field a competitive team. Please.

Sincerely,

Agreed, Ted needs to look at something for LT, at a minimum for a backup for Lang, who I think will make some sizable improvement over the rest of the season. But since we just went into our depth, we need to replenish it as best as possible.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

From what I saw I think T.J. Lang deserves a chance to play this sunday. I know it was only 17 snaps but we are playing another soft team in the browns. Lets see what the kid can do.

Been there since about week two... my tolerance for sitting on his hands is growing thin.

Yes they added Tauscher on the right side.. time to address the concerns on the left. We are two deep in the interior of the line.. I can live with that..

While I agree with the team needing to do something,we will never know if they are calling teams, or bringing guys in unless its reported.

I recall a few years ago people were just going nutts that Lavar Arrington was not even being called...And at the same time he literally was in 1265 on a tour, and people were just blasted Ted for not bringing him in..

So dont get mad cuz you dont know what is going on but get mad that they brought someone in and didnt sign them

Again.. I have faith in Lang.. but we have zero fallback if Clifton can't suit up.

And personally, I think Clifton needs a couple of weeks to get right.. We have a dead roster spot in Breno.. fill it with someone that can help us now or at least has a chance to be active on Sundays.

I don't think that anything will happen.

The thing that I expect to see is T.J. Lang starting at LT. Don't know if it's a good decision, but we've lucked out that way with Tauscher and Clifton. Maybe it'll work again.

I think it'll help our running game. I'm just not sure that it'll help Rodgers. I hope that you know what you're doing, Ted....

I think the active roster is more for having the players there who are going to participate in the game. Not so much for activating someone as a back up because you are predicting somebody to get injured. Replace Breno with another T you are still going to have a T that isn't active.

What he said. +1

I like what I saw of Lang on Sunday. Cleveland's line is (a little) better than the Lions and will be a good test.

Absolutely. But there's nothing behind him other than an injury-prone penalty machine. The team needs depth, badly.
