I ask you this would you same people that say everyone should Boo Favre, would you have booed Reggie White when he went to the Panthers? I highly doubt you would have and guess what he retired and came back, but the difference is Wolf gave Reggie his release so he could go to any team he wanted.

when did Reggie flip flop for x amount of years on retiring or not?

When did Reggie finally retire then 2 months later say nahhh got ya!

When did Reggie decide to really retire this time and it was for real... then 3 months later say I am going to go play with your heated rival

Cant compare the two AT ALL

This is why I know that you (if you are attending) would boo the living shit out of Brett.

I personally do not give a SHIT about any of it...the flip-flopping, etc.

If Brett wants to play for Minnesota, so what?

If his motivation is, or is not, to "stick it" to TT, the Pack...US...

So what?

If you want to boo him until you blow a lung out, it is TOTALLY OK with me.

I think that is your right as a Packer fan. I personally would prefer a 70k moon-job, but I would be shooting for the humor spectacle of it.

I'm not a "boo-er" Yes, I see the irony in being a "mooner" but not a "boo-er"--again, because I'm more interested in the humor aspect, as contrasted to some sort of spite-thing.

My point being that for David to assign this whole boo thing as reflective of class or lack thereof is not only off-base...I find it hypocritical.

That's because as a mooner, I am CLASSY.

In David and my case, it is all irrelevant, because both of us will probably be at our computer screens yappin' about what we all know is going to happen. Quite a bit of booing, coupled with some cheering.

It is your take, LTF...the resentment thing... that you are ENTITLED to, imo, that makes your brand of booing perfectly acceptable, ALONG WITH--all those folks that would boo the shit out of any opposing team's QB... Lord knows you earned that right after putting up with so much b.s.

Of course you can't compare the two, you hate one and you like one. The situations are not the exact same but its not THAT different that you can't compare them at all.

My opinion, you boo him because he's the QB of the Vikings (he SHOULD get boo'd like every other opposing QB) but you don't boo him because he's "Brett Favre" (like the way you would boo a Michael Vick or Donte Stallworth).

He once got hit, threw up blood and then came back in and threw a touchdown pass. He gave it his all and boo'ing him "extra" because he's Brett Favre is lame in my opinion because he did so much for us and brought us from losers to having one losing season in 16 years. It just makes us look bitter and ungreatful (there is a radio station having a funeral for Favre, so lame) but to each is own. It's a free country, its your every right to boo him, I just say move on.

And overall, is it a good strategy to get him so riled up? I am NOT saying he is a big game quarterback or anything but he has had some of his best games in "emotional" games like MNF @ Raiders, MNF against Packers, Two Super Bowls, that stretch of games after Deanna was diagnosed with breast cancer, etc .

I think boo'ing is awesome when it gets in the athlete's head (i.e. Pedro @ Yankees, it clearly affected him in 2004) but if someone is going to strive off of it, not so good (i.e. Jordan). I guess we won't know until game time, maybe the boo'ing will make go nuts and throw 3 INTs or may be he has the game of his life, we will see.

I think it's safe to say nobody is going to boo him because of Brett Favre the Packer, or anything he did while in Green Bay. No worries there, RSE.

Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
