Z2C Please move if this has already been posted but I did not see it.

Positives:
1. Woodson played an amazing game. He is a game-changing physical leader of this defense.

2. Wade Phillips is definitely a worse coach then MM

3. Establishment of a quick high efficiency short passing game in the second half was key.

4. I think I saw a much more effective pass game under center and instead of out of the shotgun. I don't think the shotgun formation works well for this team right now.

5. I really have to give Ryan Grant for a great game and also his ball control has been amazing. You will see I have been critical of him in the past but I have to give credit where it is due. When was the last time he fumbled?

6. Rodgers was extremely accurate in the second half.

7. The Oline was inconsistent but did not play that bad.

8. Special teams played better. Williams actually ran more north south than east west.

Negatives:

1. The offense for the first three quarters. I am starting to look at Rodgers vision with a more critical eye.

2.3.4.5.6.7. Penalties - By the end of the first half, I was screaming that this team was once again not prepared and the continual penalties showed this. The most obvious effect of this was how many offensive drives were killed by offensive holding and false starts.

Agreed with the penalties, but I'd much rather see a holding penalty than a sack and I saw at least one case that would have been a sack had our guy not held. I think that was Cliffy.

I've been pretty vocal in my condemnation of our line and Grant, but Grant looked serviceable yesterday. MM's playcalling was better than Wade Philips. True dat. And as for Woody, I'd like to see him as All-Pro this year. I really want him in the Hall now, but I think we need to get him a Ring.

i feel like i saw lady luck.

A LOT.

but our defense, whoo boy. where did they disappear after preseason and who the hell woke them up? has Capers really been waiting this long to bring the fucking heat?

on the flip-side, god our offense looked impotent for most of that game. what is the deal? how is it possible that we just can't get open anymore?

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

I think the O-line is still the major problem. The WR's don't have time to get into their routes, cause AR isn't getting enough time to let the play develope downfield.
But i LOVE that they didn't give up. And MM didn't give up on the running game either. It finallt seemed to get going in the 2nd half.

Most of all, i loved the "heart" the team played with. They kept plugging along until it all finally worked.

Positives:
- Aaron Rodgers started to trust his receivers and made some incredibly tough throws during the drive to put them up 10-0. They went back to relying on their RHYTHM OFFENSE.
- The team learned what it means to fight for a win. They need to do this week in and week out.
- Brad Jones. What a pleasant surprise! We knew he could play, but 7 tackles, 1 for a loss?? Very solid performance for a rookie starting his first game!
- Barnett is back in form, and it is lovely to see. I'll try not to be too smug about this, seeing as I defended him throughout the injury and recovery in the face of all of the "trade Barnett!" talk.
- Fans are no longer doom and gloom

Negatives:
- Offense is still trying to click. They found a rhythm a few times but it needs to be there more often than not.
- Punt coverage unit still makes me leery.
- McCarthy is driving me absolutely nuts with his 2nd and forever run plays. It's not fooling anyone, Mike. Two medium length passes that our offense is designed for would yield a first down, yet you seem to forfeit the series.
- Speaking of playcalling, we need more play action. Maybe MM thinks Rodgers doesn't have time for it, but the PA CREATES time if used properly.
- Fans are talking playoffs a week after saying "fire everyone!" People need to chill out a bit. This manic depressive act is wearing thin. One week at a time.

McCarthy does know what the WCO is no matter how much he tries to prove different. No matter what we need to keep Lang. If he doesn't start, he is a backup at everything by QB I think.

Capers has gotten back to the blitz. If we used this gameplan against MN we win IMO. Matthews is going to be on QBs minds. Sacks, pressure or rolling around by their feet, he is getting their attention.

OLB, we have a decent backup, and possible future starter in Jones. He isn't ready to replace Kampy yet. Though Poppinga should never see the field besides ST again.

Jones and Jordy should continue to play halfs. Jones had a good 1st half, Jordy 2nd.

Positives:

- Nick Barnett continues to improve as the season goes on.
- CM3 is everywhere. What a player. Some guys just have "it" , and CM3 certainly does.
- That was the best game by our D line in quite some time.
- Brad Jones was a pleasant surprise.
- Chris Carter who? All Spencer Havner does is catch touchdowns.
- Aaron Rodgers was given more responsibility  at the line of scrimmage
- The only injury coming out of this game was Colledge's ankle, and MM said it was not serious.
- Woodson just makes plays. What a stud.

Negatives:

I wasn't at the game.
