I know this will be unpopular but...

...how about kicking the tyres on PacMan Jones?

He could fill in as the dime back and return man now that Tramon may get pulled from that duty.

If he proved to the coaches he had the ability what would be the risk?

Keep him on a tight leash, and if he messed up cut him. It's not like we'd have millions invested in the guy. And Green Bay may have fewer places for him to get into trouble?

All personal issues aside, he never really seemed to be that good of a player. Unimpressive in Dallas. His only good year or so came when he was with the Titans.

I agree. How come nobody is bringing up Derrick Martin? He was a CB in Baltimore I believe.

"bigfog" wrote:

Martin is a good point but we still need another CB or S IMO. But I'm also guessing their is a reason the Ravens moved him from CB to S... and I don't think it's because the Ravens have the best CBs...

You're right, I just surprised no one brought it up considering people are considering Collins as an option.

Actually adam jones might be a reasonable risk for a few games u need a depth guy at this point. He also has some familiarity with 3-4 and his problem in dallas was dallas runs 34 pure zone most of the time I believe jones is more of a man coverage corner. Also stronger core of veterens here now could work.

I'd try Mike McKenzie first.

Couple more to throw out there...

O'Neal, Deltha Played with NE last season.. decent man up cover guy. 3 Picks last season.

Eric Green - Started 9 games for the Cards last season.

Marcus McCauley - Former Viking.. alot of raw talent.

Joey Thomas - Kind of a washout.. but...

Now.. as far as the impact of the two injuries.. I think Harris's has more impact because it will force us to use Woodson differently against solid passing teams. I also think the depth is a little better at LBer than CB, but I wouldn't sell this Underwood kid short.. we will give up a much more physical presence with him in the lineup in the 5 yard zone.. but I think he might be solid down the field in coverage with a little bit of playing time.

What I am saying is I would trust him over Bush... that Blackmon injury now looms large.

I truly hope they go out and ink a physical corner with vast experience.. just to steady the position.. McCalister would have been my choice.. with him out, McKenzie, Surtain or ONeal might get my nod as veteran depth.

I truly hope Al takes Underwood under his wing from the sideline.. a personal coach of sorts..

This injury is horrible by itsself, but the timing makes it even worse.

Chris McAllister was also my first pick. Played in Baltimore, knows the system, was actually still a starter last year for some time. He might've lost a step, but he'd be one hell of a nickel corner.

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
