Well, it appears we showed SLIGHTLY too much in Week 17.

No - if we showed too much anywhere it was the Steelers game, the Cards obviously watched that tape a few times!

Wow. What an absolute defensive failure.

I most want to read Capers' comments after the game. What on earth happened?!

I think even Capers couldn't believe how bad we were... a couple of time I saw him showing some emotion when the camera was on him...

The thing that gets me is that they exploited ONE thing the entire game, the middle of the field, and I didn't see a single adjustment until we put in the "Psycho" defense, and even that didn't work. But even by then it was too late. Capers looked completely confused and pissed when he was on camera. It seems like he had TOO much faith in his game plan, and just expected it to work and wasn't willing to adjust. I don't get it.

some people were mentioning that what he picked up on to exploit in the middle was from the dallas and pittsburgh game...so I guess we shouldn't have played those games

I don't get it either. To be fair, the middle of the field is exactly where the cover-2 (zone) D is most vulnerable.

But it might be a factor that we had communication issues where players weren't signaling which player was their assignment. Or at least players didn't pass off/pick up their assignments properly in zone.

I'm wondering if Capers saw that as a players problem. In other words, was Atari Bigby benched? Because in a do-or die, if you can stand on the sideline you'd think the injury isn't all that serious. A benching might indicate that players were trying to do too much, and thus leaving their assigned areas too early.

Safties usually own the middle and we have none!!!!! Bigby and Collins are usually hurt either when we are losing or they get toasted. Wow, Bibgy got hurt again tonight and Colins pulled up on a couple of plays. SHOCKER!!

I don't think we showed tooo much last week but i will say the Cardinals showed tooo little last week. I think there was a bit of not on our d hangover from the week before and it steamrolled out of control.

The Cardinals had two weeks to prepare for us. They came in a week ago, with a pair of gameplans. They were able to use the soft gameplan due to Minnesota beating the Giants. Then, for this week, they had a chance to shore somethings up and add to that gameplan.

Offensively, both teams played great. Defensively, both teams stunk. A fluke play ended up winning the game. Not to say Arizona didn't deserve to win, they clearly did. As did the Packers' offense. Defenses didn't really deserve it. I guess Arizona's deserves credit for forcing a pair of fumbles in this game.

For a team that took 2 weeks to gameplan against us, saw basically everything we had to offer and gave little away..... 51-45 in OT isn't exactly a convincing win. Just saying.

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent

Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : if PH dies, there is packerpeople com available
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable
beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
