Yeah, he lost the ball on the final play....after suffering a helmet-to-helmet hit (uncalled) the play prior, and a facemask (also uncalled) on the final play....but this guy is soon to be mentioned in the ranks of Manning and Brady. In this game, he was the ONLY reason this team was even in contention.

Now, with that said, I would just like to offer ANYONE who still clings to Brett Favre to just change colors and never come back. Rodgers did nothing wrong, except following a legend. He has conducted himself as a true professional from the draft onward, and had played like the perennial pro-bowler that he is.

Enjoy the fact that the Green Bay Packers are in some of the finest hands in the league at the QB spot. Thank you, Aaron, for the great year, and for the manner in which you have conducted yourself in one of the most awkward and mine-filler QB transitions in the modern football era.

That long pass to Finley on 3rd down was jaw-dropping amazing. The kid plays his guts out time after time, but it seems like he always gets let down by the defense. I hope that's not the story of his career.

Helluva player. The 49ers feel colossally stupid right about now, as do all the other teams that passed on him.

I wouldn't say he was the only reason we were in contention. There were also some great catch and run efforts involved as well.

That being said, this kid certainly looks like an emerging NFL superstar.
After a shaky start he looked like he had ice water in his veins.
He was the epitomy of cool under pressure.
Give Rodgers an offensive line and the sky is the limit for him.

He was also the reason you dug yourself a hole. So it was his duty to play like that. That and the fumble by the sure handed Donald Driver. That surprised me the most.

It does, but he's right, though. When you dug yourself into a hole like that, you can't play regular football anymore. You're playing catch-up. Just look at the amount of runs and the amount of 5 wide sets we ran. We had an empty backfield on nearly 50% of the plays.

That said, it makes Rodgers' accomplishments even more impressive. We where in obvious passing situations pretty much the whole game long. If you can get your team back and put up numbers like that in such a tough situation, you're good.

Go away. I'm sick of looking at Viking avatars/banners and your QB. Yes, Rodgers made a big mistake that dug the team into a hole. He did everything he could to get us out of it.

He threw an interception on the first play, not like he dug himself a 17 point deficit.

Rodgers is just going to be flat out fun to watch in the years to come.

I just hope he doesn't become the Packer equivalent of Barry Sanders.

He may of given the Cardinals an easy seven points, although the No. 2 ranked defense should still be able to hold a team to a three point try once in awhile, but Rodgers accounted for five total touchdowns. That's 35 points. That's enough to win any football game.

The Packers are easily in good hands for the future.
