Josh Cribbs is pissed about his contract. Right or wrong, he wants more cash and is prepared to sit out the season.

Green Bay's kick and punt returners are mediocre to average at best. Why not dangle a draft pick or two to Holmgren for Cribbs? Instant upgrade at that position. Seems that the Pack are only a few players away from winning the whole thing. Imagine the havoc he could have wreaked on the Cards yesterday. The only hurdle I could see would be Cribbs' contract demands, but why not take the chance?

Would love to have him. Who do we cut to make a spot. Is him on ST enough to weaken our WR corp or DBs?

That I am not sure about.

Sarcastic Answer - one of our fullbacks

I would also wonder if the reason for his great returns is that the Browns special team unit is far superior in all ways to Green Bay's. Seems like the Browns block better maybe?

Can Cribbs play defense in the middle of the field?

Who would we cut? Whoever the hell plays our 5th WR position.

As great as our receivers are, nobody but possibly Greg Jennings has enough explosive speed to consider themselves a threat to anybody's gameplan.

our 5th receiver is usually inactive on gameday. so in that case who would we sit to put him on the active roster?

i would be shocked if we continued to carry 3 FBs on the roster next season. But once again all 3 are never active at once. So that still doesn't solve it.

If we have to trade him for a draft pick, I say no. We have a lot of positions that we need to draft players for (e.g. OL, S, DL, CB)

I agree I dont see us keeping 3 FBs ... kuhn and johnson I believe are the keepers ... We have 3 running backs also. All 3 are good IMO. They sure didnt use jackson much thou and hes pretty good. I could see them getting rid of him and grabbing someone else.

We are loaded with CB and safety peeps that suck ... I can see us dumping some of these guys. And can we get rid of bush already? ... or do you guys want to see another WR outplay him ...

Damn wish harris was in that last game ...

Wonder if we could work a trade with Cribbs and Kampman if Cleveland does go 4-3. Sure there would be picks one way or another involved.
