I don't understand the comparison to Trent Green whatsoever. The Eagles went to five NFC Championships and a Super Bowl under McNabb. He has some of the best TD/INT numbers in history. He has thrown 216 INTs to 100 INTs. He has 32,873 yards on his career. Trent Green had exactly one playoff appearance (yes he won a ring with the Rams, but he was on the bench), in which he lost in the divisional round. He threw 162 TDs to 114 INTs in his career. His career passing yardage total was 28,475.

Their career quarterback ratings are comparable at 86.5 for McNabb and 86.0 for Green.

Name the weapons hey... okay.. I am game.

Brian Westbrook - Maybe the best receiving back in the game for his career.
DeSean Jackson
LJ Smith
Jeremy Maclin
LeSean McCoy
Brent Celek
Kevin Curtis - Albeit injuries zapped him the past two season.

Simply put... the claim that he hasn't had the tools is marginal at best.. why has he only completed what 59% of his passes over the past 5 seasons..

Over-rated, very classy gent, but overrated on the field.

So these are great weapons? McCoy, Maclin, Curtis and LJ Smith are you serious? I could give you Jackson but he still has some growing up to do and is only in his 2nd year and you named 2 rookies. What about the days when his main wr was the likes of Freddy Brown? I think he will shine in Washington because he will be doing a Favre and wanting his revenge.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

The dude is Good -
2x as many tds as ints for most if not all of his career ...
and comparing him to jay cutler in chicago ... errr ...
not on your life

check this - they both were sacked the same amount and both threw nearly the same yardage mcnabb 22 10 ints cutler 27 26 ints ...
ya you can have cutler -
btw Im so happy cutler flopped his first year in chicago :)
IMO chicago is the bigger rival then MN; only reason MN is bigger this year is because of some traitor ...\

If we didnt have arod - you bet I would take mcnabb for our team; until we groomed someone up. Whom else would we take?
ya sure there were some ok QBs out there but mcnabb is a pretty good QB and better then most.

seriously whom do you take to lead the team? ...

cant think of a better QB on the market this offseason

I don't think he even wants revenge, since they pretty much allowed him to choose where to be traded. There's no bad blood.

Also, in Washington McNabb will have a lot less weapons.

Philadelphia Weapons
DeSean Jackson - Pro Bowler, Very Fast, Very Good Reciever
Jeremy Maclin - Only entering his second year after a great rookie year
Brent Celek - Statistically best receiving TE in the NFC
LeSean McCoy - Decent reciever off the backfield
Jason Avant - Excellent #3 Posession Reciever

Washington Weapons
Santana Moss - Has been solid for a long time, but has started to fade
Malcolm Kelly - Hasn't done anything this far, nearing bust status
Devin Thomas - Has showed flashes, needs to step up this year
Chris Cooley - Oft injured, but when healthy, one of the best TEs
Fred Davis - A solid backup TE
No good recievers off the backfield.

I think McNabb won't have as much to work with as he did in Philadelphia. Unless they sign or trade for someone.

NFL execs believe one reason Eagles traded McNabb to Redskins was so Washington could not acquire Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford. Eagles did not want to see a Sam Bradford/Mike Shanahan union. By trading them McNabb, Redskins don't have ammo to trade up to No. 1 anymore

Schefter grabbing at straws now for a headline.. It would take Bradford some time to develop in the NFL.. so I highly doubt this to be the case.

Why will it take Bradford time to develop.. because he has had to make few pre-snap reads and adjustments in college.. if they want to fear any QB coming directly into the league and making an impact soon it would be Clausen..
