Tough break. I liked the guys potential when we drafted him, but after his injury, he's lucky to be up and walking.

Sorry to hear. Best of luck to him in his future endeavours. If I recall, he wasn't that bad of a LB for us.

Was wondering if he ever did see a chiropractor for his neck. And to think he was going to be our starter last year ... feel sorry for the dude. Also he must have been pretty decent

Kind of has a Terrance Murphy feel to it. Very sad considering this is what these young men were trying to do for a career. Hopefully he can parlay into coaching or something still involved with football.

This time last year there was a decent amount of excitement regarding Thompson. Wish him the best.

Damn, I was hoping he could return this year to be that OLB that we needed opposite Clay Matthews.

Such a shame. I really thought that he could do something for us. Especially in the 3-4.

I wish him the best. He sounded like a good and smart guy.
