I thought this was going to be a thread about Brandon Underwood trading two unnamed older women to Bryant McKinnie for a free pass on the Love Boat.

Sure.

Pro football players, as star athletes, have each been recipients of "special treatment" since they were in high school, if not before. Certainly Adrian Peterson has.

As such, none has a thing to complain about when another star athlete gets even more special treatment.

After all, what would happen to many of the people on this list if they missed work to go to a parade. My guess is that some would not just have an upset supervisor. They wouldn't have a supervisor at all anymore.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I was reading the site "Ol' bag of donuts."

Poor fella lives in Minneapolis. It was a fun read.

As good as it was, I liked this comment even better.

No context really required...

I too graduated from the U of MN, met my wife here and settled down. And also think the Twin Cities is a great place to live. But what cracks me up about Viking fans, when I mention the waiting list for Packer tickets and the fact that Viking fans wouldnt even buy up PLAYOFF tickets without fail its because theres nothing to do in Wisconsin but hunt and fish and drink. Meanwhile, every Viking fan in my neighborhood spends their fall and winter either in their garage drinking beer, hunting or ice fishing. They make it sound like they all attend the Guthrie, Orchestra Hall or the Walker Art Center on their weekends. Gimme a break.

They funny thing is.. It's not those Viking fans that are not showing up to the games.. It's the fairweather / casual fans that don't go. For whatever reason (nothing to do in WI is a good one) the Packers are not only the 'trendy' pick, but it's almost a requirement to be a fan. Like I said.. having nothing to do in WI is a pretty good reason why that would be true.

Packers fans appreciate their team, win or lose.

I suppose Wisconsin has about 30,000 or something fan's sitting at home, drinking away decades of years until their name is called for season tickets. Yeah, that makes sense. lol

If you live in Wisconsin and are bored, you're a boring person, period. I'd push that along to any state, not just Wisconsin.

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
