From Greg Bedard's Twitter

Packers DE Johnny Jolly is suspended by the NFL indefinitely. Will miss at least the 2010 season.

And the rapist Big Ben gets what 6-8 games? Where's the justice?

At least we kept Pickett and picked up Neal and Wilson.

Just came here after seeing the same thing posted at PFT.

WTF?? Getting banned for an entire YEAR for a little sizzurp? Sounds kinds harsh...

I know its BS. I mean i could see a 4 games suspension, but has Jolly even been officially charged?

Doesn't sound right to me. I mean, I know he doesn't have to be found guilty to be punished, but, cripes.

What did he do, punch Goodell out for asking about it?

"Justice" in the NFL is never equal.
It seems to depend on WHO you are.
A star QB? We won't ruin your team's season by keeping you out an entire year......even if you rape and pillage.
A D-lineman?
OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!
That's how it seems, at least.

I got to give props to Ted Thompson for making plans for this. Keeping Pickett and drafting Neal seem like great ideas now.

Jenkins, Raji, Pickett, Neal, Wilson, Wynn, and.... Harrell

We got decent depth now that could help now that Jolly might be out.

True....he seemed to be prepared for the worst.
Good thing, too.

I hate to say it, but all of sudden, Justin Harrell becomes someone worth watching this training camp. I think Jolly has played his last game as a member of the Green Bay Packers.

And Harrell's chances of making the team jumped from .5% to 5% after this suspension goes into effect.

Funny how many games someone like Rofflecopter gets and the Williams Wall can fight and continuously delay their suspension in court yet Jolly gets an entire season?

Now I'm guessing his contract he signed back in July gets deferred to 2011 if he's reinstated like Koren's contract did to the following season when he was suspended back in '06?

I think his lack of visible remorse and the party deal that he threw/attended contributed into the decision. The actual charge I don't think was enough to merit a full season, but combine that with other contributing factors mentioned I feel made the decision for him.

Yes, porky good point, this does mean we have to keep a closer eye on Justin.

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
