I am of the opinion that this was the plan all along. Skip OTAs and Mandatory mini camp, sign in time for training camp.

I think it was the wrong decision, considering even rehabbing guys showed up for OTAs.

good. i'm not a HUGE fan...but having a n00b starting at SS had me a little nervous.

Atari Bigby is horribly underrated. He still might be our worst defensive starter though. His biggest weakness in my opinion is positioning.

We had a "n00b" starting at ROLB this past year, and he turned out pretty good. I'm hoping for more of the same from our SS.

Even Colledge, as vilified as he is and in greater jeopardy of losing a starting gig, signed earlier than Bigby. With Burnett performing well at OTAs, could this spell the end of Bigby being our starting safety, if not at the start of the season, then perhaps by the end of it?

To me it doesn't matter if he's starter or not. We need the guy. Like I said, by the end of the season, DB depth becomes important. Look what happened to us when Al Harris went down.

Bigby is underrated. He's a good player. He's only the weakest of the four starters because Al Harris and Nick Collins are both Pro Bowlers and Woody's a future Hall of Famer. On a normal team, he'd stand out more.

Nice to see him sign. We need the depth and my bets are he will be starting against Philly. This is going to be the biggest battle in camp this year! We needed this!

Weak Safety play has hurt us in recent seasons. I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!!! GO PACK!!!
