I suppose my biggest physiological fear is blood tests, since I start to feel faint unless I lie down and calm myself.

As for something that isn't in my subconscious, I always have a nagging fear that I'll disappoint people/myself.

You think Finland is too cold for bees? That's where you're wrong. There are bees in Wisconsin right? Finland's climate resembles Wisconsin a lot. +25 celsius summers and -25 celsius winters right?

Finland - It was a joke directed at Swedes. Remember how you like to poke fun at their manliness (or lack thereof)?

Plus, Rockmolder and I have a long running joke about Americans and our lack of worldliness. So of course I exaggerate it.

Bees, bears, snakes, pooping in public restrooms, extraordinarily beautiful women, the IRS, a liberal mind-set, my wife when she's pissed, a home-improvement project requiring multiple holes in specific locations, the big room at the hospital and/or a multiple doctor visit when they start calling me by my first name.

Edit--

Forgot the bats. Even though I know we have a "deal" with them "getting out of the way at the last second" when they dip at you and stuff, it is just my luck that I'll get a stupid one or one whose radar is defective or something.

...and lightning.

They call me sparky, so that one is not especially stupid in the fear department--my friends run further from me than the storm itself, lol

Needles! Put a 3/8" drill bit in my hand several years back. Cool as a cucumber, I went inside, rinsed, peroxided it twice, wrapped it and drove to the hospital. No problems!

At the hospital, two shots wer needed....one to numb the area for stitches, and tetanis. Those little needle pricks damn near flipped me out, while my cauliflowered, drill-bitted palm did not even make me break a sweat. Fucked up!

Yeah, I will never understand how infantrymen can brag about charging into a hail of bullets without fear, but I pull out a little needle to give them an immunization, and they start crying like babies. Makes no sense.

I have another fear.. but kind of exclusive one..

I have this fear that I will wake up in the middle of the night.. half asleep and take try to walk.. it doesn't end well.

Worst part, I actually did that once.. lol. Freaking nerves make it feel like it is there.. and BAM!

Swedish fag jokes are the norm in Finland. Everyone tells them. Still, the Swedes like us for some reason. I guess it's because they have nowhere else to turn.

We're pretty close with Norway though (cookies to who gets the joke).

Well, "homo" is gay.

But if you're looking for something more offensive the I guess fag would be "hintti" or "hinttari".

But we also have creative names for them like "perseritari" (rough translation: ass knight).

Wow. Glad you knew what a fag (American) is because fag in British English means a cigarette butt and my Dutch former boss spoke British English. I used to give him a hard time about British English.

Britain is a has been country. They like to believe they're still relevant. Thus things like James Bond, Harry Potter, etc., where a single English bloke saves the entire freaking world from the bad guys. Yeah, whatever England. Whatever gets you through the day.

My Pakistani buddy not too long ago asked me if I had a fag and I had to remind him that we're in America, not England.
