1st video was like what happened in a game I PLAYED in

We were down by a 6 points..

Ops had the ball with like 6 sec to go...It was 4th down and the punter just ran around to run out the clock, when he heard the sound of the gun he tossed the ball in the air to celebrate a win..

But one of our guys ( future track star Floyd Heard) picked up the ball and ran it in for a touchdown...We then kicked the extra point for the win

What kind of idiot deliberately throws up the ball when he's being pursued by three defenders, in the desperate hope one of his own men might pick it up? He apparently never heard of the phenomenon known as cutting one's losses.
