nfl live espn is reporting ryan grant is out for this weekend vs. buffalo, i think brandon jackson is capable of getting more carries and aaron rodgers is going to make up for a lackluster 1st game a torch buffalo in the air !!

there saying its a ankle injury and is week to week

Any more news on Grant other than he's out against Buffalo?

By the way, glad I was wrong about Jackson. I said the drop off would be significant if Grant got hurt. Jackson looked good back there.

I mentioned this in another thread.. I think Ted has a shopping list going.

1. DL depth with the regrettable injury to Harrell.

2. Another back.. with us going thin at back by inserting Kuhn in as the #3.. I think it might be time to rethink that.

Sorry.. but I don't see a track record of durability with Jackson and I am not sure if he had to that Kuhn could tote the rock for 15 to 20 carries.

Ideally a back that is a change of pace back.. think scat with some receiving skills.. I know they don't grow on trees, but we could use one now.. even if he is green.

Picking up a guy like Marcus Mason would be a good move in my opinion.

agreed. Kuhn is a servicable emergency fill-in, but like you say, if given 15-20 carries, how much can the team expect him to produce? Keeping Harrell and only 2 rbs on the roster were big big risks, and it's almost comical how quickly the packers are facing the consequences of the risks taken.

As for Grant, fortunately it's only an ankle sprain instead of anything with the knee. Rub some dirt on an ankle sprain and you're good to go.

I think they may bring that guy from the practice squad onto the team that
RB James Johnson. As good as kuhn looks i would still go and get another RB.
Lol but by all means the depth chart could look like this for gameday
RB:
1.Brandon Jackson
2.John Kuhn
3.Korey Hall

FB:
1.Korey Hall
2.Quinn Johnson
3.John Kuhn

Highly doubt it thoe

I bet we don't sign anyone and tough it out, hoping that Starks makes it back. 😞

Since Harrell is going on IR that frees up a roster spot more than likley were getting a RB or a Dlineman

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
