I always tend to respect the payers who do stick around with the rest of the team. Surprised when I hear some don't. In MLB they often go back to the Spring Training facilities to work out.

Even if Colt stays with the team I don't think he will be physically able to be a part of the scout team.

I believe before a certain point/date players have to be released and go through waivers before being IRed. After a certain point/date players can go straight to the IR. At least that's what I think it is... my guess is that point/date is one of the cut down dates... to the 75 man roster or 53 man roster.

I figure they'll hold onto Barclay and Abbrederis until they can send them straight to the IR list with out them going through waivers.

Where does it say anything about putting him on the PS?

Gives him a year in a stable environment and a year to learn the system.

As far as swithing to FB, there is talk every year of using one of the TE's as an HB.

This will probably be Kuhns last year, so if Colt makes the team next year, he might be the one TE that is versatile enough to play that position.
