Defense tried some different stuff with a big lead to evaluate Thomas and have Clay back outside. I don't think the team was really up for the challenge in terms of where the dominos fell. Honestly there were a lot of defensive goofs in the game, but the hope is that they don't become habit. There were a couple blitzes just failed miserably on the part of a couple young defenders and on the edge clay looked lost a couple times. Probably needs more time there again to refamiliarize himself. Overall, defense made a lot of big plays tonight that you got to be happy about. There were some rookie mistakes out there and a totally bs call on ha-ha, but I was pretty optimistic after that performance.
