They showed that Janis end around to Seattle, Mike’ll be working some combos off of that play 'cause he knows they’ll scout it.

It's not like it's some super secret special play on the tail end of a blowout, it's just getting our biggest/fastest player the ball in some space. Also he "pitched" it like 1 yard, it's not that risky. We even got to see Richard Rodgers throw an effective block. I loved that playcall and I hope we see some more stuff down the stretch that uses those skillsets of guys like Janis/Davis who may not be polished but can still add something to the offense.

But yes, I hate basically any run outside ever and this is only the second time in as long as I remember that we've had success on an endaround.

I thought Michael looked pretty good, for the short time he was out on the field.

I thought Michael looked great and we haven’t had a speedster like this since Knile Davis😁 [or maybe i should say A. Green]. In non jumbo formations Christine had runs of 7, 5, 5, 1 and runs of 2, -1 with 2 FBs in backfield. Plus, 3 carries 0 yards on V-form drive. He’ll be fully ready next week in time to see his buddies. If he can bust a couple of long runs in last 4 games, he has a chance to lead 2 teams in rush yards for a season.

Ripkowski at 3:07 in 2nd he runs for 10 yards untouched; he had vision for the hole and hit it fast, faster than Lacy would have. He is Mike Alscott! He could play HB.

Monty was phenom. He played every snap of last 2 drives and it no coincidence that the O was unstoppable.

Michael doubled on Mercilus nicely at 7:24 3rd Q

I want to set a one FB limit... of course maybe they'll surprise at some point with a two FB formation and hand it to Rip at FB and the LBers will wrongly target the RB and Rip will rip one off. But I rather get another pass catch on the field than another FB... and Cook has size, Cobb has quickness and Nelson and Adams come up big at times.

That's what I've been saying about Rip with the RBs injured, they should of given Rip a shot at full time RB (while the vet RBs were injured at least)... and I don't know why they didn't... though to be honest, I'm not sure about Rip having vision for the hole... to me it seems like he almost predetermines which hole he's going to hit, and hits it as hard as he can, weather it's open or not. And when it's open... great... when it's not... well he's going to push the pile as much as he can (or maybe bounce off).

Yeah I think they need to consider moving Monty to RB full time... or at least until they get a real good healthy RB that knows the systems. Think about this: Monty being able to flip between RB/WR and Rip between FB/RB on any given play... basically teams won't know if they want an extra LB or CB on the field depending on the set up. And then the Packers could show one look and then hit a motion and move them. Teams might not know if they're going to see a 4 WR / 1 RB package or a 3 WR / 2 RB package, as well as switching while going no huddle to keep what ever defense is on the field.

I've read one problem with Michael is that he gets mistake prone in pass protection, so I like reading that he at least doubled nicely once.... and I think this will continue with Michael as long as he feels he's the new guys and needs to impress to stick around. But I wonder what will happen once he stays getting comfortable... will he get complacent again?

I do not want to see a return of that trend.
