I had hoped the next GM was calling the shots. Now I am hoping it was Thompson, lol.

Rounds 5, 6 and 7 are typically have longer shots to make the team.
In 2014
5- Corey Linsley made the team but Jared Abbrederis is long gone
6-Demetri Goodson should be gone but he is always injured.
7- Jeff Janis People have been screaming for his release but he keeps sitting on the bottom of the depth chart. If not for ST he prob would have been cut.

2015
5-Brett Hundley
6- Aaron Ripkowski Christian Ringo and Kennard Backman Rip is a decent fullback. I don't get any warm and fuzzy feeling when Ringo is in the game. He probably wud be gone if they had a decent DL. Backman is gone.
7- none selected,

2016
5- Trevor Davis still struggles even with his talent. See Janis.
6- Kyle Murphy Lord help Aaron if they need him in the game for more than a couple of plays.

2017
5 DeAngelo Yancey, Aaron Jones Team has so much depth Yancey had no chance. Add to it that he is so slow. Decent TC. Has to make it because Packers cut all the veterans cept the WR pretending to be a RB. 😝
6 Kofi Amichia no chance to make the team.
7 Devante Mays, Malachi Dupre I expected Mays to be cut but see Jones. Dupte. RAW RAW RAW. He was on the football team in college but it may as well been the rugby team. It will take 2-3 years to develop him.

Look at how many of Ted's draftees are still in the league, not how many make our team. Ted already has us stocked with talent.

Adams and Biegel are hurt. Yancey and Dupre can obviously play. Yancey probably got cut because Barclay was hurt, meaning they needed a backup C. But Patrick hasn't cleared the concussion protocol yet, so they had to keep him AND McRay.

Amichi is gonna be very good, but he needs an offseason to add strength.

And...how many of those guys are more than just nominal NFLers? That's important.

You need horses to win in this league. Too many non descript players do you no favors. JAGs.

Anyone saying Amichia is going to be very good has an agenda. Nobody can say that after his brutal performance. It's like saying Spriggs will be a great LT. Can't say such nonsense.

No one can predict the future. That's why we call them PROSPECTS. And these are very good prospects.

Will Amichia be very good or a total scrub? I have no idea. Evidence as of right now points to total scrub so to say he WILL BE VERY GOOD makes little sense.

And Amichia was athletic enough to play LT for 3 years in college and played Center his freshmen year (and was called out as a "Center" in the draft).

I think Amichia is our back-up Center/Interior OL for next year. I thought he looked horrible his first preseason game, but he impressed me with how much better he looked after that. And I think he was the Packers top OL not taken to the 53 man roster.

I also wonder if McCray is just temporary on the 53 until Barclay and/or Patrick get healthy... because Amichia was clearly catching up to (if not surpassed) McCray in my mind... and normally when that happens, they go with the draft pick. Of course they wanted a back-up Center and I haven't seen/heard of Amichia practicing at Center (yet).

When you don't make it as an OL draftee when we kept 10 OL (many of which are simply not very good) and nobody in the NFL claimed you, the arrow is not pointing up in most cases. Packer=good is something all of us need to fight against to see what is really there. Like fans of all teams we overvalue our own and our front office has a big enough problem with that issue.

Where Packer=bad is something you need to fight against to look past and see what's really there.

Like I said, I was surprised to see how much he improved... in that aspect (how much he improved through training camp) he kinda reminds me of Marshall Newhouse (their play style is very different), but that both were pretty dang back and surprisingly improved throughout training camp.

Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then

Zero2Cool (2-May) : Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as out for tonight's game.
dfosterf (2-May) : Surprisingly low initially is my guess cap wise, but gonna pay the piper after that
dfosterf (2-May) : The number on Love is going to be brutal.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (1-May) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
