They've got 10 in the box.

They're not respecting us deep. If we hand it to Lacy, they will converge.

The other thing Denver did really well was to rush in lanes - not allowing Rodgers get escape outside or step up - this, of course, is also a product of their D Line manhandling our O Line.

Just like putting Janis in the game and run him deep to hold a safety deep protecting against a deep route, just like running slants can setup a defense for slant and go's, running a screen or two makes defenses protect against it. And also to setup other plays. If they run Starks/Lacy into the flat and hit him on a screen, a LB has to follow him, which removes a defender from the middle which could make a bigger hole for Cobb crossing the middle, or pull defense out of position allowing for a TE to sneak out the other way.

Using Janis and maybe even Abbrederis and all the rest of that stuff just ain't gonna fix things against a good defense and will only help marginally against lesser defenses because it all comes back to the O Line.

Hmmm you guys keep saying why didn't Aaron and the offense adjust to the pass rush and throw quick passes. Well that would of been nice if Denver didn't take away those short passes. They forced the packers to beat them down the field. But that is impossible to do when aaron can only look at his first read before the pass rush is in his face.

This will keep happening to the offense for as long as Rodgers is unable to go through his progressions with this receiving crew.

What happened was simple, the Packers offense didn't work as a team and all of them were out of sync especially Rodgers who struggled hitting his check downs even when he wasn't getting pressured....

The lack of oxygen got to their heads and they couldn't think....

The Packers have holes in their game and they got exposed as the Broncos were able to perfectly exploit them like no other team has done.

This should be a wake up call to everyone and they should play better in the future.

I'm with Tex here.
The O-line is the problem and in particular the tackle play.
The defenses are beating the tackles like a drum.
After watching Carolina's perimeter pass rush last night I don't see things going well for our offense against them.
The Packer's crack coaching staff had better "scheme" something or it's going to be another long painful game for Aaron Rodgers.

But Aaron's still got plenty of time, he's just not getting the ball out.

Aaron wasn't playing like the surgeon of a pocket passer that Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are. Instead he kept on relying on his athleticism to make plays.

Aaron is so reliant on this, he pisses on the route tree and waits for his receivers to get open, which has now become the most predictable thing the Packers offense do. All the DB's have to do is stay in close proximity of the WR's and Rodgers won't dare throw their direction.
