Oh please, Adrian removed his helmet twice on the field that should have been flagged. Still wouldn't have made a difference.

Adrian Peterson had our number, period. Nothing was going to change that, no excuse, no flag, no nothing. Maybe a broken leg, that's it.

Get over it already. (says the guy who's still pissed about the Titans loss)

so you don't think them kicking from their own 15 for our 2 minute drill would have made a difference?

Possibly not. A different chance of the returner fumbling/muffing. Driver doesn't make that rediculous 20 yard catch that was tipped 40 feet in the air to land in his hands. Etc. Etc. Etc.

If we had scored a touchdown, gotten ahead, but called for a helmet coming off with a little over 2 minutes to go, kicked from the 15, lost the game to a field goal... Someone would be mad. Mad at our player. Mad at our coaches. It didn't happen, to us or them. I'll go back to the golf analogy. There is a fine line between hero and goat. I don't much give a damn about the "no call". They cleaned our clocks, period. This board would be whistling a little bit different tune about our players, coaches and penalties had they made that call and a different outcome ensued...I'm just sayin' ...

And if a bunch of Viking fans came on here, bitching and moaning about said calls/misscalls.. You all would just point at the scoreboard.

Which I'm gonna do now.

I really have no beef with what you have said in the last two posts. I notice you didn't whip your rule book out for either of them, though. After we beat you in week one, your fellow buddies went on for 17 pages about how the refs hosed you out of the game. I stirred the pot in order to see what your reaction might be. Would you like for me to share the link? Heck, there's a good chance you posted in there, personally- I'm gonna have to go look!

I guess rules arn't enforced all the way around fairly.
I guess AP gets the "star" treatment already, and isn't held by the nasty ol' rulebook.

Ok. That was a missed call. With the additional 15 yards on the kickoff, the Packers could win this game. We'll go back and chalk this up as a Packer victory. Because of that, all you Packer fans can remove all Viking paraphernalia from your ava/sigs.

But, in exchange, you must remove that '96 season Lombardi trophy from your trophy case and either strike out that win in the record books or put an asterisk by it.

Because of the actions of Brett Favre, removing his helmet in the middle of the field, raising it above his head like he's the last of the Mohicans clutching his victim's scalp, allowing the wind to blow through his perfectly layered hair in the process. That was illegal, and should be flagged and penalized. The consequence of such action could result in a Patriot turnaround in momentum. Causing a line of events to possibly give them the 'W'.

Hey, it's your team, you choose.

Either way, it's ridiculous to complain about this. Just as it's ridiculous to say this game is on par with the Denver/San Diego referee wise.

With this rule alone, you can go back and find a team that has done this at least once a game... EVERY game. Just like you can with pass interference and offensive holding.

Oh, I know I posted in that thread.

And I did call out some bad refereeing there too. Go ahead, look. 😛 But, I don't see Florio or PTF making absurd posts with video evidence on the miss calls in that game.

The safety and the Al Harris led to 5 points

and you know for a FACT at leas tone of those should not have been called..

I still say it wouldnt have mattered..

The Packers were destined to lose..

But point is, they shouldnt have been CALLED

How did the Al Harris thing lead to points?

And I still stick to my guns that the safety was legit. Too legit to quit.

And you keep bringing up those calls/non-calls. It took me a total of 2 minutes to get over the piss poor non-calls against Al Harris mugging the Vikings WRs during week one. You win some, you lose some.
