My hatred of the 31 team argument is that it unfairly spreads the chances to 1/32 rather than a more realistic odd. We are 4th in the number or rings, but we are the only team on that list that was pretty much a contender for every one of those 25 years.

That's extremely generous. We weren't contenders in 91, 99, 05, 06, 08. There's various other debatable years where we went 9-7 but had huge issues. There's 7 total seasons we didn't even make the playoffs.

How the hell do you call a 4-12 (91 and 05), 6-10 (08) team a contender? Hell, there were three years we got 8 wins too (99,06,13 w/ one tie).

Besides, my point wasn't that we actually should only expect to win a super bowl an average of every 32 years. Just trying to point out that besides the Patriots, it's not like we're lagging notably behind other "contenders" as far as super bowl victories go.

Since I've been watching the Packers for over 40 years (shut up, yes i'm gettin old) I tend to take each win & loss with a grain of salt. My God people, I'm a Packer fan in ILLINOIS!!! I went years of just hoping we'd beat the Bears at least once in any given season so I could put on my Packers shirt & finally get a chance to gloat!! Maybe it's come with my age but let's be honest here guys - it's a game, not the end of the freakin world, not the reason to have your day ruined - life goes on. I understand getting annoyed during game chats & like Zero said in the first 24 hours post game but then - I let it go.

Now, having said all that...I can get pissed as hell when we lose, frustrated at the play calling, annoyed with the coaches, & yes, even the players!!! Don't they know we're supposed to win every damn game?!?
