I fully expect the Packers finish the regular season with the #1 seed in the NFC. With that seed comes a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Additionally, it also means that whatever lowest seed team survives the wildcard round, they will have to travel to Green Bay to play the Packers. Think about it, should the Washington Football Team make it to the Divisional round, the Packers will be rested and waiting play them. They could get the 7th seed team that now looks to be the Arizona Cardinals. Having the #! seed also ensures that whoever you play will have already been through a life/death war already in the playoffs. Also any opposing team may have suffered injuries at critical starting positions.

Last, but not the least, GB would enjoy the Home Field "advantage" (even without fans in the stands) throughout the playoffs. GB could host the NFC Championship game !

The Packers know the value of the #1 seed and will put forth a superior effort to STOMP THE TITANS and lock up the top seed.

In a vacuum, I think you play the starters for a bit to keep them fresh, once the game is in hand or out of hand, then pull the starters and play the game out.

However, locker rooms do not exist in a vacuum and Aaron Charles Rodgers is not a guy that would be chill sitting the game out. As a coach, I would sit with some of the team leaders or the entire team if possible and query them on the best course of action for the team. Teams feed off different things and it is important to keep them engaged.. so weigh their collective response and move in that direction within reason.

Hypothetically???? Hypothetically if we clinch in week 16....seriously? We are far more likely to get decimated.....Sorry, it is hard for me to address such a hypothetical....I deal in reality.

For the edification of the readers, let me illustrate the difference between hypothetical and real.

A young man asks his father, “dad what’s the difference between hypothetical and real”.

The father says to his son “go ask your sister if hypothetically she would sleep with a man she was not married to for $1 million”

So the young man runs off and asks his sister, “Sis hypothetically speaking, would you sleep with a man who is not your husband for $1 million.”

The sister replies “well, if I loved him, if we were engaged, and he loved me, and he wore protection, and the family needed the money, I suppose, hypothetically speaking, I would.”

The young man reports the answer back to his father.

Father says, “go ask your mother the same question.”

So the young man ask his mother, “mom, hypothetically speaking would you sleep with a man other than dad?

So the mother asks, did your dad tell you to ask me to ask this question”

The kid says “yes”.

So the mother carefully ponders her answer and says “hypothetically speaking, if your dad had passed on, and the family needed the money, and I loved the man, and he loved me, and he wore protection, then hypothetically speaking, I suppose i might”

The young man returns to the father and give him the answer.

The father says, “there you have it….son that’s the difference between hypothetical and real “.

The son says “dad, I still don’t get it.”

The father replies, “well son....hypothetically we're millionaires, but really…we're living with a couple of whores.”

Depends on whether The Bears need to win to make the playoffs.

Go back to 2010 season, Packers needed a win Aaron Rodgers Chicago week 17 to grab the #6 seed.
The Bears starters played, the whole game, hoping to keep The Packers out.

3 weeks later, The Packers weee on their way to The Superbowl after eliminating The Bears.

As I said earlier, The Packers are probably going to need a win over The Bears to keep the #1 seed.
Beat The Bears , keep them out!!!!

TheKanataThrilla (27-Apr) : I think he ended up with a terrible RAS score
