That's actually my point, TheEngineer. It's impossible to know how much significance to ascribe to a "haha" or a "lol" or a "ROFL." Just yesterday I got a text from a girl in my immunology class that started with "hahaha," yet there wasn't even a smirk on her face as she sent it. So what was the point of the "hahaha"? Those tags don't actually do anything to elucidate sarcasm or irony or humor. If anything, they're all the more confusing.

Packers RB Ryan Grant tweeted an update on his ankle surgery this morning:

Hey guys letting everyone know that surgery went great (thats what I was told) lol but feeling good and wanted to truly thank everyone Everyones prayers n support has made this an easy process so far and Im looking forward to coming back even more of a beast..work time

Grant was injured in the season opener at Philadelphia on Sept. 12. He was expected to have a screw or screws inserted in his right ankle to help heal torn ligaments.

Though there was some talk that Grant would be able to return later in the season as Dorsey Levens did from a similar injury in 1998 the Packers decided they couldnt wait for him to come back.

Grant was placed on injured reserve and is out for the season.
