I was wondering if it was beyond the realgm of possibilty here that all these suspended players may have taken the banned substance in addition to the Star Caps? I don't believe Kevin Williams has a weight problem, but it isn't too much of a stretch for me to believe he was masking steroids. Now Pat Williams, I have no problem believing needs diet pills.

I can't find it at the moment, but I read somewhere that neither of the Williams tested positive for anything more than StarCaps.

And by failure of proof that either one had taken performance enhancing or illegal drugs, they are innocent in that aspect. Period.

This is just a buying time move.. one that very well could back fire on the Vikes if it only gets delayed a short period of time..

Do playoff games count in the suspensions?

Either way, the NFL team of lawyers will have this reversed rather quickly.. maybe not in time for Sunday, but if the Vikes need the Williams to beat Detroit they have bigger problems.

Gotta give them credit though, they are going down fighting on this.. losing battle I think but who knows.
