WR... I might have been the only guy on this site hammering the fact that Davante Adams was nothing special and a run of the mill WC. I was actually wrong...he's much worse than that. Ty Montgomery was and is a much much better prospect going forward. Davante might be a one contract player in the NFL. WE NEED SPEED. Cobb was horrific this season. Davante sucks, James is done. 88 cent, Abby and Janis are 3 to build around and we can only hope Jordy picks up where he left off. Draft someone who can fly.

TE... Richard Rodgers was a wasted 3rd round pick. My grandma's shadow could tackle him in the open field. No athleticism at all. How we played a season with him as our top TE is baffling. He's awful. Get someone who can run and break one tackle a season.

LB... Our middle is still soft without Clay projecting in there.

OL... My goodness this group was so overrated this season. Nice game by them in AZ but for the seaosn they were brutal.

P... Masthay really screwed us today and he was poor for most of the season.

RB (3rd down back)... This team has needed a legit 3rd down back for years. Someone with speed who can catch it. How much that would diversify this offense. Why we don't ever look to do that is curious.

You go BPA with the draft. If we didn't have the injuries we had we would've been better than we were.

Davante Adams and Cobb disappointed, but all Adams had to do was catch the ball. He didn't. He got hurt twice. Next year, we get those two back along with Jordy Nelson and Ty Montgomery. Both Janis and Abbrederis proved they belong in the league.

At linebacker, Jake Ryan just needs to lift more weights. He's not super fast, but he's already a better tackler than A.J. Hawk and Nick Barnett ever were. Sam Barrington will be back next season.

I'm in full agreement at TE. Richard Rodgers isn't as terrible as you said he is as he has the best hands on the team. However, with his skill blocking he should be the second TE. We need to draft someone like O.J. Howard out of Alabama or sign a Coby Fleener or something.

Honestly, I don't want Adams back. The most hyped player by the org in as long as I've been a fan. The things said about him on this very site were mind boggling. If you actually watched him play last year he had nothing special to him...same for Rodgers...NOTHING. I would hope as fans we would drop the idea that because they were drafted by the Packers that must mean they're good. It doesn't.

Ryan looks like another AJ Hawk but at least he wasn't a wasted 5th overall. A decent player for a 4th rounder. I think we need a bit more than decent there. Of course, you're not going to have a 53 with all pro bowlers.

Ted had a nice draft last time out. He needs to do it again because he ain't going to do anything else. Peppers will be gone. What are we doing at OLB/DE? Where's the pressure going to come from next year? Jayrone Elliot seems to get the Janis/Abby treatment. I don't understand...guy makes plays.

Oh, and the most important thing...I truly want a new DC and would love a new GM and HC combo but none of those things are going to happen unless someone decides to retire.

Why would a guy who opined that GB could go undefeated if they could beat Denver just before Denver game and then hoped GB would get blown out by Washington come to a Packer Board to discuss upgrades for next year?

Is this not treason!

BTW, I didn't say that on this board before the Denver game. I thought we were TERRIBLE long before we lost to Denver.

The treason is you saying I said that before the Denver game...I'm a man of my word. I said I wouldn't post until the season was over and I didn't make a single post all season even though you're claiming I did.

1. ILB - Clay is an OLB. He had made it clear he prefers being an OLB. Joe Thomas sucks when dropping into coverage. Fix this position, for once and for all, Ted.

2. TE - I'll take a player halfway between Richard Rodgers and Jermichael Finley. We need someone who can exploit the middle of the field more. Oh, and break tackles (even once in a blue moon would be an improvement over Rodgers).

3. Tackle - I just don't want to be screwed if Bakhtiari or Bulaga go down. Maybe they have something with Tretter, but an actual T in the draft would be appreciated.

4. Punter - Enough of the struggles at punter. Bring in competition, let the best punter win. Surely we can figure something out with holding for Crosby, even with a new punter.

It would be great if every one of the guys who left it all on the field tonight would be back next year,

Because of free agency and the salary cap that is just not possible.

The only upgrades needed right now are guys getting healthy, but they all won't. Be back because other teams will snatch those that are heading to FA up in a heartbeat.

I'm gonna leave it at that.

The sun will come up tomorrow, try and enjoy the day.
The draft is only 100 days away!
Can't wait to see what Ted has planned!

TheKanataThrilla (11h) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Zero- Did you see what I posted about Voice of Reason and his wife? She posted over at fleaflicker that they are both "In"
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Well, not crazy, it makes sense. Crazy I didn't notice/find it earlier
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : it's crazy how one stored procedure to get data bogged everything down for speed here
dfosterf (7-Aug) : to herd cats or goldfish without a bowl. They reminded me of the annual assembly of our fantasy league
dfosterf (7-Aug) : out on a field trip, outfitting them with little yellow smocks. Most of the little folk were well behaved, but several were like trying
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon on the waterfront here in Alexandria, Va. A daycare company took about 15 three/four year olds
wpr (7-Aug) : seems faster. yay
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Wife of reason posted on the in/out thread on fleaflicker that both she and vor are in
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : This page was generated in 0.135 seconds.
Mucky Tundra (7-Aug) : Tbh, I can never tell the difference in speed unless it's completely shitting the bed
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Sure does feel like site is more snappy
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : I thought that was the Lions OL
Mucky Tundra (6-Aug) : Travis Glover placed on IR; seasons over for him
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : found bad sql in database, maybe site faster now?
dfosterf (5-Aug) : I'm going to call that a good move.
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Packers sign CB Corey Ballentine
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Hey i didn't know we could trade picks in fantasy
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Update: Rock has tried a cheese curd, promises it's not his last
Zero2Cool (3-Aug) : watch it!! lol
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : you're right, we never did leave, the site just went down :P
