Cnnsi say is so.. your opinion?

As much as I hate to say it, Deion Sanders signings directly impacted two franchises.. IMO, that is the only real competition.

http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80ef6512  They have him at one there aswell.

Anyway, maybe it's the way he stood for change in a franchise that had been struggling for ages combined with being one of the best DEs ever.... and he passed away prematurely. That always adds some kind of heroic feeling to a story like this one.

It's not even close in my opinion. Maybe I'm bias because Reggie White is one of my three favorite players of all time, but he impacted Green Bay in a huge way. Without Reggie White I'm not sure guys like Seth Joyner, Sean Jones, Ron Cox, and Santana Dotson come to Green Bay. I'm also not sure if Keith Jackson and Eugene Robinson want to be in Green Bay after a trade.

I would say Reggi for alot of reasons but Z you came up with a good point with Prime Time. He was a game changer for sure and he was the final piece for 2 different teams to win super bowls.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Sanders does not deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Reggie. Favre plowed Deion's ass downfield on a reverse, as I recall. Neon is the most over-rated player (IMHO) ever. He was the Reggie Jackson of football; made a few great plays during the playoffs, a scant few during the season, but overall, was inert. Afraid to tackle. A pussy. A Cowboy. Nothing more needs to be said.

What are you smoking? He was the last true shut down corner, teams feared him which changed the whole game. He also was a terror on punt returns. Btw he played for Atlanta,SF,Dallas and Baltimore. Oh ya he is also the only player to ever play a football game and then later that night play in a world series baseball game. So please do some research or atleast sound like you did before you make comments like that.

I was and still am a huge fan of Neon Deion, but he was not a major Free Agent signing.

Did you know the Raiders I believe it was actually offered more money for Deion? He chose the Cowboys cuz of his buddy Michael Irvin.

Reggie put us over the top, the Cowboys were already a dynasty before Deion got there. Deion was a helluva signing, no doubt, but no where near in the same category as Reggie.

Deion shut down one side of the field - passing. Reggie collapsed the OL and was throwing guys around like rag dolls. Reggie could stop the run and tackle and apply pressure on the QB while making the rest of the team better.

Reggie White: 4 years 17 million.

Albert Haynesworth: first 4 years: 48 million

I think we got a pretty good deal.

The market was very different back then. At the time I believe Reggie's contract was the largest free agent contract ever. At the time of course.
