I do tend to rant a bit and got a bit off-topic, my apologies.

Funny, considering Osama bin Laden has repeatedly denied involvement with 9/11. Yet we attacked Afghanistan anyway. Even though bin Laden is Saudi.

I love our reactionary logic.

If we are in such danger from a bunch of Arab tribesman in little countries thousands of miles away (which we aren't, but I'm just saying), we should bring our troops home, reinforce our own borders, and let them establish whatever natural equilibrium they want amongst themselves. Yes, that means there will be a brief upswing in regional violence -- that means a bloodbath -- but so be it. It's called natural selection. Genes that don't want to reproduce too terribly bad will weed themselves out.

I can't debate this anymore. I'm too weary of it. The world would be so much better if we'd just drink wine, eat chocolate, get laid, and tell the rest of the world to go fuck themselves. If they aren't afraid, why should we be? No country has ever successfully prosecuted a ground offensive against the United States -- even world power Japan didn't dare do more than move a few submarines into our territorial waters -- and no nation ever will. The fact that we're afraid of a bunch of tribesmen baffles me no end.

It amuses me no end that the same people who live in fear and hatred of Arab tribesmen and a "terrorist network" that essentially doesn't exist (the worst-case intelligence reports I've read indicate that there are all of 50 Al Qaeda operatives in the entire country of Iraq) cheerfully plunk down money everyday for products labeled "Made in China," a Communist country with 1.2 billion people and a gigantic ground force, who, by the way, owns 40% of our federally owned debt and has essentially turned the USA into its economic colony.

This is off topic anyway.

Honestly, it's all about enviornment. I don't expect to agree with other people, I try to respect differing viewpoints as much as I can but when people's viewpoints go from "I think..." to "You should do this" and "You should think...", that's when I start getting intense. It's a flaw, it's obvious I'm not going to change your mind on anything or vice versa without a long-drawn out conversation which you don't seem to be up for and I'm sure I'd lose the patience for.

Don't worry, I'll always remember you as the guy from La Crosse that appreciates small boobs. 🙂

Europeans are a bunch of lazy ass whiners who think the world owes them a living.

In other words, they're where the USA will be in 5 years.

I just want to apologize to everyone for my rant. I shouldn't post on any forum, particularly this one, when I'm angry. In a debate we were having on Facebook, someone had made some derogatory, condescending remarks about soldiers who have reservations about the war, and I overreacted and got irrational.

I actually tried to delete my posts in this thread, but Porforis had already responded to them so I couldn't.

Again, I apologize, and if Zero2Cool would like to delete my posts, I'd be more than appreciative.

I believe I've made my case on how I feel about posts being deleted/edited often enough that its not warranted to be re-hashed again. :)

Osama bin Laden took responsibility for the 9/11 tragedy, at least, I could have sworn he did and also for the Ryder truck incident at the Trade Center nearly a decade earlier as well. I don't know for a fact, but I do know it was said several times and I believe Osama in a statement he said he was behind it.

beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
