The last I heard, abortions will not be funded by this bill.

The decision is actually passed on to the state. At least they're only pissing on state rights, not pissing, dumping, and setting them ablaze. Although I wonder how long that'll last for.

I think this is correct. It seems states will mandate if the residents should pay for others to have an abortion as opposed to the federal government under the bill.

I guess believers in god in individual states will only go to hell as opposed to the whole country then.

I will never understand how any constituent that believes in a Christian god could have voted for this president and not realize the irreparable damage they may have done to their soul.

I guess it is worth it though to get back at those "greedy evil insurance companies." we showed them didn't' we!

. . .

Didn't we?

I work with several people that go to the doctor every time they get the common cold, just so they can get a doctors excuse to miss work. Its infuriating.

Go to Walgreen's, get some Nyquil, and fucking deal with it.

I don't even buy over the counter stuff.. Unless I have a wicked mean flu/fever. I just pop whatever Tylenol/cold meds we have in our cabinet and deal. Typically, I get REALLY sick once every 1-2 years.. and it only lasts for a day or two. So that's when I buy any sort of over the counter stuff. And when I overcome the illness, I have leftovers for the next 2 years or so.

I tend to be a pretty cheap fix.

first time i've ever cried because of pain. i held it together for around 14 hours but once i hit the hospital, all i wanted was pain relief & it was taking awhile for the meds to get to me - the tears started then.

While I admire your toughness, I don't necessarily think your course of action was all that laudable, ma'am. It's certainly possible to hemorrhage or experience other damage from a kidney stone. I'd far rather see someone pop into the doctor's office, get a quick shot of morphine to relax the ureters, and pass the stone safely and quickly, than endure the agony of having that thing scrape slowly down a spasming ureter, into the bladder, and then into the urethra . . . Not pretty.

I agree that presidents get too much of the blame and too much of the credit. It really bothers me when people are voted into or out of office on the basis of their economic policies; that never happened before the Hoover administration, because people realized that presidents have virtually no substantive effect on the economy, nor should they. WE are the economy. WE determine if it runs or fails. And it's OUR debt-ridden lifestyles that have driven the unsustainable bubble over the last 20 or 30 years. Our presidents had nothing to do with that.

Ever since FDR, presidents have had much more power than they probably should have as dictated by the Constitution. The Bush administration however really accelerated the reach of the executive. Our current POTUS has followed similar suit as Bush in this regard. Obama ironically accused Bush of many abuses of power and then continued the same practices when he got into office.

I can imagine that you're talking about your freedom being taken away. Many people seem to link taxes to freedom. If you ask me, progressive taxing is the way to go.

Anyway, why is he lousy at managing your money? You obviously had to pump some money in failing companies to not screw yourself over, totally.

We had to, as well.

Or because he's putting some money towards his healthcare plans? I think that you're always trying to find a balance between giving good health care to all and not paying too much as a government.

If you ask me, yours was way too skewed towards not paying too much as a government.

He's making some positive changes.

I haven't seen any "positive changes" by Obama. Nothing.
And as far as taxes, the government takes in more money then they need. LOTS more. But they don't care how it's spent, or wasted. If there were checks put in place and the government had to answer for all they waste, heads would roll.
But as long as they don't have to answer, what do THEY care what they piss away?
And they just keep bilking us more and more. And it's NOT going to get better. And once they gain control of our healthcare.......I hope i die soon. I don't want to have to TRY to live through that nightmare.
