It may only look that way, but let me tell you as a guy that's only missed 2 games at The Bank, night games are perfect there. In fact, the best atmosphere I've ever experienced at a football event were the night games. The following links are photos from opening night last year against Air Force. They were the best pics I had of the field once the sun set. Let me assure your worries (as if they were really legitimate, haha) that the field will be seen just fine.

I get what you were saying, as far as public funds go. And it makes sense, in that way only.

The U used a loan to help pay for TCF, of which has interest. I'll have to find the figures on it, but I'm pretty damn sure that's why they were able to get state approval before the Twins did (and obviously before the Vikes).

As much of a proponent I am for lower taxes, as a fan I'm willing to pay an increase to go towards a new stadium for the Vikes. I can understand why others don't want to bend in their beliefs, and I surely don't blame them. Unfortunately, it's out of my hands. Sure is alot of talk about a new stadium when we don't even know if there even is going to be an NFL season next year..

I'm just in complete disbelieve with the players Bearce and Vikings alike. Seriously, if I hear another Viking player piss and moan again about the field 'issue', those overpaid whiny pussies can take a flying leap. Dress up some high schoolers from the TC and pit them against some high schoolers from Chicago. At least you know we'll get to watch a FOOTBALL game instead of two groups of vaginas that can't pull their heads out of their asses.

I'm getting to the point where I'm glad I'll be working on Monday night.. At least I'll be doing something productive with my time instead of wasting it on MNF. There were THOUSANDS of Minnesotans that busted their asses off for 4-5 days to shovel out that place, and these 'athletes' have the gall to make those comments?

Fuck you NFL players. And the giant yellow association you rode in on.
