I was reading this article here  and started wondering, what's the difference between paying via Debit or Credit?

My initial thinking is paying by credit holds a lower transaction fee because my bank, Chase, has enrolled me in some plan that rewards me if I use it at credit, rather than debit.

Use credit. The cards are protected better. Just be sure to pay them off every month.

My wife and I use our credit cards for everything. We keep all receipts and pay them off every week online. Note I said week and not month. I'm pretty anal about that.

She gets free coffee, I get cash back.

I have a VISA Check Card. I can either go debit or pay as credit. It's pretty sweet.

This.

I have a credit card with gas-based rewards (shamefully BP, but card expires in 2 months). If I pay it off every month, I get 5% rebate on every BP purchase, 2% rebate on most food/lodging expenditures, and 1% back on everything else. I literally get payed to use my credit card. I have about a $350 check waiting for me from the last 6 or so months to reclaim whenever I want it. Consequently, I virtually never use cash or my debit card.

I gotta get into that. I just feel like I'll forget to pay it off. Not that I can't. I'll just forget lol.

Actually my friends and I have been doing this cabin trip over spring break every year. On our way up North last year we stopped by Cabelas and picked up some ammunition. My roommate decided to grab the Cabelas' credit card. Now, no more than a year later we've decided to go back up north. A few days ago he stopped by Cabelas to pick up ammunition. He got $50 worth of ammo free because of how many points he racked up on his Cabelas' card. Frickin' awesome.

I have a debit card, do not have a credit card. I don't think there's an establishment on this planet that will give me one either, lol.

Do not ever name your children a Jr!!! Because if you screw YOUR credit, you take your kid down with ya!

I've been using credit on my debit card.

I'm not sure how retail credit cards work - if you just build up credit based on a purchase through their store or if it applies to ALL purchases. I think Discover and Bank of America give about 1% back for all purchases, and I know Marathon gas gives similar discounts as my BP card (becuase I looked into switching back in August) so look around and see how you can maximize your return.

My BP card is through Chase and they send me 10 day email reminders of when my bill is due, and I just pay it then, and like I said, I get 1, 2, or 5% kick back on EVERYTHING I buy (unless I purchase from another gas station). Pretty sweet deal!

Mucky Tundra (16h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (16h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent

beast (30-Jul) : How long will it be down?
beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
