Pride and honor are not synonymous.

Humble is antithetical to Proud. You can't be both.

Humility and self effacing are honorable traits. Pride isn't.

One of the big problems facing our country, people confusing Pride with Honor.

To me, it is like night and day. But to a lot of people, there is little difference. In my opinion, it is because few people have a real understanding of honor, so they lump it in with pride.

Pride goeth before the... ouch, damn it.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

If you have a bitch about him and his work habits.. comments towards that.. but using a statement of his, a complimentary statement to a teammate... that is weak. I guess I expect more out of two "leaders" like they claim to be.

3. And now I have found another person, Tedy, who is worth nothing more than the Speed Ignore key.

Too much was made of an innocent tweet by chad. Too many assumptions and generalizations about Chad were based on one tweet by 1 big headed guy. Everything Bruski said could be completely wrong about Chad, but Teddy wouldn't have a clue either way. I think it's great Chad chose not to reply at all, replying would put him in a lose lose situation.

None of those guys have any clue what they’re talking about. They aren’t in this locker room.

Like it isn't obvious that Bruschi and Harrison are off base.. even someone outside the situation can see that.

Simply put.. they wanted attention and CJ is an easy target.

I enjoy Rodney's comments most of the time.. he should stick to thinking for himself and offering opinion from his current position.. one of observer and not pretending to be involved.

Tedy.. guy has been a blowhard his entire career.. don't expect anything different from him.

It is pretty crazy how an innocent tweet caused such a stir. I have agreed with the point, just didn't care for the deliver. Felt like Tedy used a 3lb hammer to put a thumb tack into the 4x4. Then Rodney gets asked to comment on it and comes off looking like he's an attention seeker.

I think these social (Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, FourSquare, etc) avenues do more damage than good ...

I'm glad Brady came out and said Tedy didn't know what the hell he was talking about. Bruschi is a dumbass.

If I was a writer for SNL, I would come up with a skit where Bruschi is a sports radio host and goes off on people for making innocent comments. But the writers for SNL are awful, so that will never happen.

Example:

"I think the Packers have a good chance to repeat as SB champions."

Bruschi: "Repeat? What the fuck do you know about repeating? You need to shut the hell up and stop posting stupid shit on twitter. You have no idea what the fuck it takes to repeat in the NFL. Get the hell off of my radio show and don't ever call me again, you fucking idiot."

Brady beach-slapped Bruschi like Tom was a pimp and Tedy was his ho. Ha!
