Line up the hypocrites!

Barking at rookie center Corey Linsley in front of the world when he had to burn a timeout in the first half was a bad look for the Packers quarterback. Linsley, bless his heart, was thrown into a tough spot in his first game, unable to hear or imagine what was coming next. That doesn’t make his error excusable, but the reaction seemed over the top.

It’s not that the yelling was out of the ordinary, but it’s a great example of context in the NFL.

When Rodgers or Tom Brady does it, it’s competitiveness. When Jay Cutler does it, it’s a sign of immaturity. God forbid Cam Newton took the towel off his head and did the same.

If Rodgers really wanted to bark at someone, he might have chosen the folks who put together the game plan. He was throwing almost nothing but dump-offs (18 passes for 86 yards in the first half) when the game was competitive, and the circus that was a fourth-down attempt in the second half will be dissected for days.

I am honestly worried about Aaron's mental attitude.

He's a great player but I feel like he's starting to get that diva thing going that Favre developed. Aaron was bitching at Mike last year on the sideline. It's worrisome.

We're talking about a 2 second knee jerk reaction in the heat of the moment. It took me 20 times as long to type this on my phone as it did for Aaron and Cory to get over the incident.

I don't mind that play, he was trying to get Linsley to rush and he wasn't paying attention like he should have.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I don't know it just seemed like an emotional outburst it happens when your not playing well and your frusterated. It didn't seem like a personal attack I'm sure Rodgers would have said something to him on the sidelines or in the lockerroom. We have bigger problems to worry about anyway, like the pass coverage and the offensive play calling.

I wonder if Daniels is gonna be as "vocal" in the locker room as he has been.

Anyway, we got the Jets next. We can use them for target practice.

Any word on Bulaga and Richard Rodgers? What about Lacy, I heard he had a borderline concussion.

I guess I can see where you guys are coming from to an extent, but I just think we cannot place blame like this unless we are inside that huddle or on the team. We don't know everything that went on in between plays. We do know that their defensive line dominated our offensive line for the most part. The Seahawks at home are something to behold. It will take a championship caliber team to beat them there. Week 1 of the NFL season: We are not a championship caliber team.

But then that happens rarely, especially early in the season.

Then you disagree that we played the best team in the league on the road because that was the general point. Our failures will be magnified because of the spotlight that was on us but I thought we played way better given the circumstances than the Broncos did in the Super Bowl and I am not about to hate on Aaron Rodgers for getting fired up during this game.

Much to do about nothing. Perhaps it could have been handled a little better, but it's also nothing I'm going to lose sleep over. I'm certain 95% of PackersHome would do similar things in the heat of the moment. We are not professionals, true, but we all still human. Things like this just happen with competitive people.

Aaron Rodgers is still a "problem" that most the league would love to have.
