I hope we hire from outside of the packers coaching staff if we replace sanders. Advancing someone from a failed system will be nothing more than sugar coating the same pill.

Well their scheduled to do the exit interviews today as well. Tomorrow is where we will probably find out the faith of sanders. MM will be meeting with the coaches also.

well, if we hope to keep Moss on staff, we may have to promote him. Watching First Take right now, and the ticker says Moss will be interviewing for the Rams HC job.

Just saw that. I think he was in position to take over the D since last year. That was really the only reason why he was promoted (that and the Packers didn't want anyone to steal and hire him as a d-coordinator).

Let Moss go as far as I'm concerned. What has he done that would merit us keeping him around?

And I'm hoping Cheesey got it right - that we're looking at someone from a playoff team and waiting for them to become available.

Our LBs were terrible this year. Why everyone is ga-ga over Moss is beyond me.

Agreed. While I'm not unrealistic enough to think it'll happen, I firmly believe we need to clean house in terms of defensive coaches (except for Washington, if we could keep him) and bring in a serious D coordinator.

I would let Moss go and get a HC job and thank him for his work here, but I'm not going to make him the DC because someone else might hire him. Our defensive backs were the only group who played tough all year long, so if any coach stays it's Washington, IMO.
