It says in the first paragraph that it's due to injury.

It says a number of players have withdrawn due to injury...doesn't necessarily mean that Charles did. Although, his toe might still be a problem and he's preparing for next season.

Personally after playing almost a full NFL season with a broken toe I would probably want to get off it for a while too 🙂

Well so much for the recruiting at the pro bowl. I'm starting to think alot of the vets on the team don't have faith in TT. Thats just my opinion.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Woodson pulled out of the Pro Bowl probably because of his toe and the Pro Bowl doesn't really have any sway over what players think. Ray Lewis tried recruiting at the Pro Bowl and Baltimore really didn't get anything or at least Terrell Owens.

The Pro Bowl is meaningless and the NFL should just do away with it. No one cares. The players don't care, the fans don't care.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is going to have a surgery on his toe. It has been a long time and the bones has definitely healed, but I wonder if it didn't heal correctly because of the use.

Green Bay - Packers cornerback Charles Woodson will not play in the upcoming Pro Bowl due to injury.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced cornerback Ronde Barber is going to replace Woodson.

On another Pro Bowl front, Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings could very well be announced as an injury replacement soon.

Two of the receivers in front of him, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin, play for the Arizona Cardinals. They are in this weekend's NFC championship game, and the longer they are alive, the more the chances increase one or both will back out.

Plus, Boldin has a hamstring injury that already forced him to miss one playoff game -- last week against Carolina. And he's unlikely to practice in advance of Sunday's game. The odds are very strong that Boldin will back out of the Pro Bowl because of his hamstring allowing Jennings, the first alternate at NFC wide receiver, to go to Honolulu for the first time.

Well if Jennings gets in then that would make up for not watching Charles on the field. For me anyway.
