I still have to laugh when I think of the QB situation with the Lions, Vikings and Bears. We've had our QB position solidified since the early '90's and continues to be solid after our Legend retired.


Just had to throw that out there, again. 😃

Well Zero i hope after the draft the Lions and us are the only teams set for the next few years, but i still fear where Cutler can end up. Detroit will either end up with Cutler or Stafford which won't be bad for them but i sure as hell don't want the Lions with Stafford and the Bears or Vikes get Cutler.

Why would a Green Bay Packers fan want the Detroit Lions to be set for QB for a few years?

I meant it as saying we know the Lions will get a qb for the future this year, i'm hoping the vikes or Bears don't get one also.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

How would you know that any draft pick would be their "quarterback for the future" without seeing them play for 3-4 years minimum? You don't really accept Rodger's as our quarterback of the future because he hasn't proven it for 3-4 years. So, just because the Lions might draft a quarterback, by your logic, that doesn't mean they have a quarterback for the future at all.

Fact is.........you don't know till the QB proves either way.
Jeff George, Todd Marinovich, Andre Ware, and the list could go on and on were supposed to be "can't miss" QB's. Well,.......they MISSED!
Then again, some later round guys have shown to be great. So who really knows, till it happens?
AR could have crashed and burned last season, but thankfully for us, he didn't. I think he has the talent. He just needs an O-line that can give him at least a LITTLE time, and a running game that can keep the other D guessing.
