To hose or be hosed, this is the question. With a super bowl trophy and a young loaded team, I believe our GM has been doing the hosing.

We won the SB ... now I would trade any draft pick for an opportunity like that for a player that had a major impact like Clay did.

If that was being hosed, give me another dose.

Haha, looking back now, that list kind of holds true, most those guys are average at best (except Mike Wallace).

This draft has been deemed as weak overall by many, except at a few positions like D-line. I would not be surprised to see Ted try to trade up or down depending on how the picks line up. I could see him trading down to a QB-needy team at the top of the 2nd round OR trading up to a team that misses out on Gabbert/Newton (see Washington/Miami) and wants to pick another QB (Locker, Ponder, Mallett, Kapernick) at a more appropriate draft position.

A trade up to 10 (Redskins) or 15 (Dolphins) would give the Pack a chance at one of the better offensive linemen (Costanzo, Carimi, Smith, Solder) or defensive prospects (Aldon Smith, JJ Watt, etc). Both of those teams also are missing 2nd or 2rd round picks due to trades and would probably like to picks some picks up.

(remember spots 32 is lowest spot where you can still sign a pick to a 5 year deal)

I say we go all in for Von Miller and really bring the heat next season. Even Bush would be able to cover with Matthews and Miller bookends. All the tackles this season are right tackles at best, and none are better than what we already have in house.

Funny thing was it was that draft that turned me into a Ted Thompson fan.

Good bump.

But is Bulaga a long-term RT or will he switch to the left when Clifton is done. I can't see Chad playing beyond next season. If Bulaga is our future at LT, we're going to need a new RT. Is that player on the roster (Lang, Newhouse, etc?), I'm not sure. That's why I wouldn't mind a trade up to get another tackle.

Carimi/Costanzo seems like more of a Right Tackles from what I've heard, but both have the ability to play guard.

Solder/Smith are more like Left Tackles.

Millertime - our new left tackle may just be Newhouse. I think we will have to see how the off season goes. I like the idea of leaving Bulaga at RT. He handled himself pretty well and will only get better. Carimi and Solder seem a little small to handle the position.

I would say the Packers are going to sit tight and let the draft come to them. Tomorrow we will find out what our comp pick is for Kampmann. It would be nice to bring in about 3 prospects to seriously compete this training camp, and we absolutely have to find a punt returner not named Tramon Williams.

I thought it was a high price to pay. I still think they paid a lot but when you are looking for quality you sometimes have to over pay. (Reggie for example.)
