basically they have the falcons, packers, ravens, lions, and jets.

what do you think?

i think the packers are the only guaranteed team to continue to contend, with us having rodgers, jennings, and finlay. i probably have the green and gold goggles on though.

Also what do you think about the lions being picked? i think its kind of a toss up, but i doubt they stay a bottom echelon team for long

The Lions? Scratch them off that list.

The Jets are looking to build a team based on the old saying "defense wins championships" which has been true for most of the NFL history, with notable exceptions (like last year for instance).

Us, well, we rule.

I think it will be us vs the Jets. Bellichick's Patriots were the best team of the 00s but they're on the decline.

I just don't buy the others.

What about the Niners? I'm thinking Singletary is the real deal. If the Niners can end up with an elite QB, I could see them winning a pair of SBs in the next 10 years.

Like it or not.. the Lions are coming.. they seemed to have finally melded a common vision between a competent GM and a competent HC.. they are starting to build a nucleus that should be there for a nice run..

Then look at the landscape the the NFCN for the next couple years.. a rebuilding Viking team with little coming up, heck they might not even be in MN. There is darkness in the Viking franchise cloud... and it is coming soon.

A Bears team that will be stripped down following this year.. scrapping the GM, HC and starting over.

That leaves them a one team that has stability in the roster going forward.. better days are coming for Lions fans.

The Bears will not be tearing down! They got their savior last off season, Jay Cutler! And then they their other savior, Julius Peppers!

I'm a believer in Sam Bradford so I could see St. Louis emerging.

I think the Falcons have a good thing going with a well balanced team. I wouldn't be surprised if they take the division from the Saints this year
